Boundless Himalayas Trekking & Expedition is an efficient, well established and well organised company that has
been operating for the past fifteen years. We are known for our care to detail and the service we provide to the people who travel with us. The company came together in 1999. It was formed by three trekking mountain guides who were friends with many years of experience of climbing and trekking between them. The aim right from the early days was to provide well organised tours and expeditions that measured up to our clients expectations.
Initially our main focus was on organising high Trans Himalayan Trekking throughout Nepal, whenever possible on new trails, many of our initial treks were coupled with mountain and peak climbing which still remains an important part of our business. We have over the years built a firm reputation that we share with you on the web site through our testimonials page. We also have added a news button at the top of this page to keep you informed of what is going on here.
From fairly early on we expanded our services to include a wide variety of holiday experiences. Nowadays we run tours in Nepal and the neighbouring countries of Tibet, Bhutan and India and also Mongolia where we have a good agent. Our tours range from all things adventurous, to more leisurely pursuits, especially teasing out some of the exceptional nature and fascinating culture this beautiful country has to offer.
If you are really looking for something a bit different in Nepal, with a company that is well established, sound financially and you can truly rely on, why not make contact. You will find us helpful honest and straight forward.
We are members of the NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association) and TAAN (Trekking Agents Association Of Nepal). From the environmental aspect, we fully recognise the need to preserve the extremely beautiful, yet highly sensative environment Nepal has been blessed with. We have always been keen supporters of sustainable travel and of the need to be always aware of the impact tourism can have on the region. Thankfully on the more popular tourist trails, there is a far greater awareness of the environmental impact tourism can have on the natural ecosystem, but there is still a long way to go.

To Min Jim and Mr. Lama
I have just arrival back from ten days trek of the Annapurna Circuit. Considering the time of year the weather was great and the news of the mountains was super, my guide Mr. Lama was very organized. And by using him it definitely took the worries away and allowed me to enjoy the views. I would use Boundless Himalayas again and recommend them to anyone considering doing a tour.

Sitting in front of the Indian Visa centre to get a visa for India I look back to the time that I spent in Nepal.More exactly the weeks after my arrival on the first of September. Focusing on the service that Boundless Himalayas offered me.From the arrival day until the third of September my contact person and guide was available, partly because of bureaucratic matters but I felt that he in service of his company would be there for me whenever I needed some guideness in this for me totally unknown world. My first long journey ,first time out of Europe, first time Asia, first time Nepal, first time ………. Guideness is a special word amnd being a guide is special job. I got what I needed .Not only before our 3 weeks adventure but also during this for me physically and mentally tough hike; two people who told me what to do in any situation with regard to trekking And there was humor, singing, joy, laughing and good drinks ! In other words: it was in all perspectives a real challenge, And I loved it ! So…… this was one experience Two weeks later I left for another walk. The accommodations were more comfortable everyday .I could choose my food from a menu and paths were easy to walk But how glad I was with my guide when altitude illness forced me to make a descision although I already decided to walk the way back he offered an alternative ; maybe after two yesterdays on a lower place we would be able to continue our route after all we nevertheless had plan showed his involvement and professionality .The hike back was exactly the way I wanted : long days in an up tempo. So…….again I had a very good experience. Guideness ; this is not an official word I think , but it has a meaning for me: professionality, expertise, flexibility, friendliness, supportive, empathetic, motivating , sense of perspective, social ,well great job don’t you think ! ! I only express my admiration for the (assistant) guides that supported me during the hikes J …Boundless Himalayas…Thanks ! for your boundless services overall your willingness to advise, to make a suitable itinerary, to let me use the internet at your office etc. And very important too , I appreciate your openness towards me when I talked about some little complaints that I had. Its all good …………
Warm greetings……..Hedivig …….from Netherlands
Mt. Everest has always captured my interest so when my friend Lorne suggested that we trek to base camp. I decided to join him. We decided to join the senior’s trek, because you moved at a slower rate for better acclimatization and Boundless Himalayas Trekking provided that for us put together a team that made reaching Everest base camp come true .We did so on Oct 22nd 2016 .Thanks Min.and the crew at Boundless Himalayas Trekking
Thank you Boundless Himalayas for the lovely trek to Dhaulagiri circuit trek and they rescue from base camp due to my high altitude shocking. Your team is supportive and 3 people who stand out for me are Phorba, Phenzo, and sahaila. The cook, Chandra.. Sadly I could not complete full trek and had to be rescued by helicopter from Dhaulagiri base camp. The porter too did their job very well. Thank god I am back safe. Your team is very good. Thanks

I had an light days “Tamang Heritage Trial “. I had the luxury to do it at my own pace .Thank to my guide and porter who were extremely accommodating and very patient. I had no worries just enjoy the sceneries. These two people had arranged everything we needed ……….with some hitches but all well done .I could go on forever but I have summarized my absolutely great experience in wonderful Nepal……. By the way this is my second trip and from my bucket list….I had to return to this great country and great people……always smiling …….Namaste
Ali charent from Algeria.
Together with my daughter Ludmila & Ozgur accompanied by Kumar, our guide, we achieved in time this round trip to Upper Mustang for 13 days.
All difficulties have been over handled with soft handling because of monsoon. Upper Mustang is quite different and worthwhile interesting through traditional culture, landscape are unique.
Thanks for all organization!
Incredible experience in Mustang. We were well guided and so well assisted by our guide Kumar. We keep amazing souvenirs and pictures.
I hope being able to come back and do all other trekking trip with this agency which has now all my trust. I am thankful for all this.
Ludmila – 27 years old
Thanks to our agency to let us experience this remarkable trek in Mustang. We had chance to see great places and know its people.
Our nice guide Kumar was always there to make us feel comfort and safe with his knowledge of area.
Dal Bhat Power 24 hr !
Today, I go back KTM and finish the trekking of Upper Mustang (Lo-Manthang), finally. I thank for the organization of Boundless Himalayas Trekking & Expedition Ltd. The trekking of Upper Mustang is a greater experience to understand the culture of ancient Tibet. The guide took us to walk around the village when we finished the day walk around 5~6 hours. We saw the construction of the base of houses, roads and so on, in an instable base, and how to construct channels for plant. A lot of things are about the wisdom of Tibet people. So, I have a lot of benefits for this trekking. So, I thanks again to the all staffs of Boundless Himalayas Trekking & Expedition Ltd., sincerely.
We had a very nice trip to Everest Base Camp. Our team were great & very helpful. They made it all possible.
I will be back-hopefully next year to try to climb a mountain, if not next year, then some other year, but it is hard to stay away from Nepal for too long.
All the best from,
Dearest Min + Boundless,
Thank you for organizing the excellent guide and porter who managed to lead us up the mountain to ABC. He was very patient with us as we were quite slow and kept having arguments with each other.
Next time we come back I promise to lose more weight. Can’t wait to see Everest base camp. All our love,
To the Mongolian Treks:
We like to express our deepest gratitude to you all, Mongolian Treks and Expedition (P.) LTD. AS we arrived in Nepal we had only rough ideas what a kind of trekking we are looking for. We wanted to go off the beaten roads as Everest and Annapurna (too crowdy) to we decide with your help for a trekking in Okhaldunda/Solu district, a more remote area. The result was extraordinary. Under the leading of Sonam Phincu, (an excellent guide) we had our best trekking in Nepal. Sonam knows the areas very well and we had at any time close contact to the local people. And till the time we cross the old Everest trek route by Jubesi, we meet NO other tourist(!). Additional we had views of ALL the 8,000m mountains of Nepal from Dahulaghiri to Kanchenjunga. Here was not possible. And last but not least, you organize for a very good price/service relation. Again many thanks to you and your company staff and guide from the whole two people group.

We just came back from rafting, trekking and Chitwan!!
First: We are unluckyat the rafting.Don’t rbing cameras!! And make sure to sign the form about insurance A.S.O.
Trekking was Great!! Chappi our guide, really took good care of us.e did Naya pul Chorepani – including Poon Hill, Tatopani and dwon to Beni. He really knows his way!!
Chitwan is also great. Elephant ride is the best. We saw rhinos and babies. But no tigers!!
We really got a good price and good time!!
With love to all at Mongolian.
We made a trip with “Mongolian” To chitwan National Park, which is recommended! Very friendly people at the Eden Jungle Resort, clean room, good service.
We saw on our jungle trips monkeys , bear (with baby), lots of deers, rhinos with baby, crocodile, etc. Certainly worth it!
We return today to a noisy and lousy Kathmandu after a very enjoyable trek. Our porter Rani was a very strong and wise man and went beyond portering as he shared his knowledge with us. Our guide Rajan not only safely led us through our trek, but shared stories about his family, his culture, and Nepali customs with us. We had nothing to worry about as he took care of every single detail imaginable. Mongolian Treks has provided us with an unforgettable experience andwill definitely see us again in the future.
Thank you Sam and Adam. Dahnyabad!
Thanks for the trek. All went well with no problems. A good sleeping bag and down jacket is mandatory and the ones you provided for me were fine.
Our guide Chhapppi was very good and a real help to us in pointing out things and helping us find rooms each night. Thanks!

Tony Bader, Australia, got to Kathmandu utterly shocked – flew Biman Bangladesh – BIG MISTAKE.
Looked around Kathmandu for a day and EVERYBODY tried to rip me off or overcharge, then I cam to Mongolian and the boys here are GREAT. Honest, helpful and cheap – if it wasn’t for them I would have paid out tons of unnecessary $$.
Their trek was the best, my guide Uttam is a legend, and the guys genuinely treat you like of the family.
Can’t say enough good things about these guys!!!
Give them a go!
They are fairly new business and try HARDER.
I just returned from Gosain Kunda. It was great. A lot of snow, beautiful snow white lake. It was pretty cold up there. But it was the experience I will never forget.
A very big thank to Chhabi Thapa.
He gave me a great service.
My legs are big pain right now. It will be OK soon. I believe.
I love Nepal. It is beautiful country also good people. I will miss there smile.
I did the Everest Base camp trek and it was fantastic. Besides the landscapes my guide sanjok brought to life to many things about the Sherpa Culture.
I went to Everest Valley with Buddha the guide, I was very pleased with him and the service from the company.
Rebecca Tsang (H.K)
This is my 2nd visit Nepal. Uttam is my good friend and he was trekking guide. First time to visit Nepal. Again I came to Nepal with 5friends and Uttam arranged us Langtang trek for 9days. His cost always reasonable. We liked very much and we will try to come back gain. We had spent really good time, Langtang is so beautiful place, nice peoples etc.
This time we got such a good guide. His name is Mr. Dorje Sherpa, who have got a lot of experience aon mountain trails. We trust that, Mongolian has team work and good management. So we always wish to have all the best and every successful efforts.
We were told trek Coca-cola trek!! This means we were told it was easy. It was not easy but it was fantastic. The most exhilarating experience and scenery that touches your heart.
Raju was informative about distances, culture, mountain ranges, etc. When asked!!
Cheers an experience to remember forever.
We returned today from a very nice and interesting trip around Helambu. Everything was perfect. The guyide, the cook and the porters are very nice people, so that we can enjoy the trip without missing anything.
The cook is the best around the whole world.
Thank you for everything

Well just arrive back from 9 wicked days trekking around the mountains. Need to do more! Som, Chubbi, and Purna were the bean and never complained about our utterly terrible efforts singing – all the time.
Thanx to all @Mongolian trekking for the “Package” – walkies, rafting wat. park all so well worth it and will seriously consider returning to play in the snow someday will definitely come straight to see this team.
Thanks very much for Mongolian Tekking for organizing our tour, you guys are great. Thanks to our guide Som for getting us from beginning to end and Rina and Chai for easing the head. Will come back here any day and recommend this company to everyone
Well, what a trip. Thanks so much to the team at Mongolian Trekking for a great trip. The first day was the hardest with 3300 steps, but what a way to start… Mr Sir Sam was very good and always pointed us in the right direction. All the places we stayed in were fantastic. The people so friendly and very caring. The two porters, Purna and Chaabi kept smiling the whole way. We all got an very well and had the best time.
Many thanks to all the people who made our trek very enjoyable. Service was of a very high standard. And Min so very very helpful.
I will be sending people your way. If I here that they are gang trekking in Nepal.
Many, thanks Again.
I had a great trip to Annapurna Sanctuary. Raj my guide was very knowledgeable and helpful and I really enjoyed the Gurung and Magar villages. Annpurna base camp scenery was fantastic (better than Kalapathar or Gokyo) and the vegetation and topographic feature were fantastic and quite different than the Khumbu. I am looking forward to next year when I hope to go around Annapurna and to Upper Mustang. Nepal is a wonderful country with great people and I look forward to my return next year.
Mongolian trekking is well-organized, professional and motivated to provide a good time to visitors to Nepal. I am a satisfied customer!!
I just returned from my trekking around Annapurna circuit – it was a wonderful expeience and Mongolian trekking provided me with a Great guide and porter – chuda and Bikesh. They were awesome trekking partners and know much about the area and made my trek in Nepal one I will never forget! I am planning to come back very soon and do more trekking with Mongolian plus Chuda and Bikesh.
I love Nepal and look forward to returning again soon! “All the best + my thanks to Mongolian Trekking
Thanks for an intrepid outward bound experience. We loved the scenery, especially the jungle. We even managed to tolerate the leeches but definitely well worth it.
Just finished our trip – trekking, Chitwan and rafting – thanks for a great time for helping us. Reach all the guest houses on the trek – at times didn’t think I would! And for the sometimes amusing modes of transport – we had a great laugh – and got to see lots of the country and learn a lot about the people – Nepalese catch phrase “Sure why not”
The Mongolian Trekking organized for us the Jungle trip and Langtang trek. Bother were unforgettable, for a fair price.
Specailly thanks to the crew who joined us on the langtang trek. They did a very good job. The weather was good and the view perfect!
We can recommend Mongolian trekking to everybody!
Mongolian trekking organized our trekking tour in the Everest region very well. All was perfect. Our guide Sanjok managed the trek, the lodges and was very friendly. This two weeks in the mountains was unforgettable.
Thank you very much for the tour.
Annapurna Circuit 21/11/99
We hada really great time with Ram Gurung, the porter/guide from Mongolian trekking. He really looked after us and ensured that we were safe + comfortable all the time. He has a fantastic knowledge of the mountains + landscape + he knows where to findthe best lodges + food! Trekking is not simply a “walk in the park” sometimes it is really tough + Ram always kept up a smile + good cheer to keep us going when it was too cold or too tiring! We are coming back to do it again – Thanks to Ram’s inspiration.
On the advice of Babu Lama, who collected me from the airport, I decided not to do the Everest trek, but instead plumped up for the Langtang option. This proved to be a good choice as it was relatively tourist – free. The views were spectacular and Uttam and Netra my guide andporter respectively were excellent.
We stayed in a variety of guest houses which were generally clean and comfortable and were able to exchange advice with other trekkers. The Langtang – Gosainkund – Helambu trip lasted two weeks. At times it was quite hard work but always worthwhile and I would recommend it to anyone.
Later on I spent an enjoyable three dasy in Chitwan National part at Island Jungle Resort, and then a quick two days trek from Pokhara to get a closer view of the Annapurnas. Sadly it was cloudy but from the town the view is still superb.

We’ve just come back from 15days on the Annapurna Circuit with our trusty porter, Bala Krishna. He was an excellent porter. He made suggestions for our itinerary, but deferred to us when we wanted to go slower, faster, or stay in a different place. He was very flexible and met our needs to a tee. He would often get into town just before us an organize a good place to stay for a good price (often better than on the menu). He was generous, often offering us to try his Nepalese food or beverages.
He has many years of experience, and acted as a guide as well as a porter. He made an excellent effort to speak to us in English.
We were two girls traveling together, and needed someone trustworthy, reliable and also a little guidance, as it was our first, trek. Krishna met all these requirements with flying colours. He cares highly recommended by us.
On arriving in Kathmandu we looked around for the best deal and found it here.
Mongolian Trekking arranged our rafting, trekking Chitwan and air fares. All at a very reasonable price.
We were lucky to have a very experienced guide who know lots of local people. We spent a hilarious 10days trekking to ABC and back. Uttam had lots of good advice and was happy to consider what we wanted to do.
A great trip that will keep us laughing for along time.
4th Dec. 1999
A very big thank you to Mongolian Trekking for giving me an unforgettable experience in the Jomsom andAnnapurna region.
Chhabi my guide was fun loving but sensible. He become sensitive to my needs and redesigned my programme accordingly and walked at a pace that was comfortable for me to maintain. Bhim was an intelligent and knowledgeable porter who anticipated my every need and was always willing to do that little bit extra.
I was taken to guest houses where the owners seemed particularly welcoming and friendly.
It was wonderful to be able to parcel myself off and be treated with such care.
I would highly recommend Mongolian trekking for value for money and quality service.
4th December 1999
We have just returned from a 21dyas trek from Jiri to Gokyo and back to Lukla. Our guide, Chuda, was fantastic – professional, very knowledgeable also very humorous. He and our porter Raju made a great pair. I can see him making a fine guide himself in the near future. The trek itself was unforgettable. – amazing scenery, a fabulous mix of lowland Himalayan towns and culture to the awesome sight of 8,000+m. peaks – an experience we will never forget and one made much more enjoyable and memorable by the company Mongolian and, in particular, our trekking partners Chuda and Raju.
Yeah, but don’t play Chuda at Chess!!

I have just returned from the Annapurna region after 15days trekking and before this the Langtang and Helumbu region. Both treks I did with Mongolian trekking. After completing the Langtang trek, I enjoyed it so much I decided to trek with them again in Annapurna. Everything ie, food, accommodation so done for me with no fuss and this left me to enjoy, the wildlife, scenery and interesting Nepali culture. In Langtang I had a porter and a guide, both being very good at what they did. I thoroughly recommend good a trek with this company. Many thanks to Mongolian. I may well return in future years.
All the best
We (three Belgian women) chose this travel agency because they received us excellently. They recommended to go to Nagarkot by feet to acclimatize for our big trekking in Tibet. They promised us a nice trip. All included and that’s what we got.
Our guide was a friendly, really professional guide. Thank you Mongolian team.
We did a 17days – visit to Tibet organized by Mongolian trekking and it was Excellent.
We did the 4days trekking: Gaden to Samye (4days is enough) and afterwards we did the jeep.-tour Lhasa to Border (Zangmu). Seven days is really enough to see everything. It was a wonderful experience. WE got a good organized tour for a good price.
Min, you have looking after us very well indeed and have helped our group, have a very enjoyable and successful trip. The organized at Chitwan and the views from hotel view point will be something we will all remember for many years to come the personal approach of Mongolian Trekking will be what I will recommend to other trekkers and I look forward to utilize your service again when I come back to Nepal. Many thanks!
Many thanks for Mongolian for a very enjoyable first visit to Nepal.
I look forward to arranging future trips with yourself and wish you the very best with this venture.
Thanks for a great trip the Chitwan. It’s been very enjoyable and have great memories. You done well with the last hotel to see the sun set over the mountains. I will recommend you to my friends and will contact you for any future trips.
AGAIN MANY THANKS MONGOLIAN, WE HAD A GREAT TIME AT CHITWAN AND I WILL RECOMMEND YOU TO MY FRIEND, SEE YOU NEXT TIME.
The organization and friendliness offered by Mongolian and the personal touch from Min ensured a fantastic and faultless final week to our trip. On any future trips to Nepal, Min would be the first port of call. Good work + many thanks – Min.
Having been to chitwan and Nagarkot, we have spent an enjoyable final week to our trip to Nepal! An enjoyable experience and Min was a fantastic and mot welcoming host… I will certainly look him up next year!
I was looking forward to Chitwan the most and with the programme that Min organized for us at the mark made my trip, the final week went smoothly and well with no problems and the accommodation was excellent. I look forward to arranging many more trips with Mongolian travel. Thank you very much.
To the Mongolian Treks,
15, Sept. 2000
The friendliness combined with excellent organization from Mongolian ensured a brilliant time during our stay in Nepal. We didn’t have to worry about any of the arrangements – the transport, pick-ups, accommodation, programme and all staff were superb. It’s great to know that Mongolian will be available to organize my futer visits to Nepal. Thank you all very much for another wonderful experience.
Nov. 4th, 2000
Note: Mongolian Trekking and Expeditions provided surprises and adventures while walking with the very good guide Mr. Sanjok. I can’t say enough about the qualities of my guide and Sanjok. We walked from Jiri to Lukla on and on to the high Everest dome area. The Tea House and sthe food served at the houses diverse and filling. Warm and tasty.
Mr. Min Thapa, the managing director of Mongolian is very honest, fare and will do all he can to enhance the trekking experience. He knows Ist hand since he served as guide during his younger years.
I walked around town here for 2days checking out other agencies and finally returned to here because of the fast planning and coordination!! Many thanks to all! My good rain down upon us!
If you want to see a picture of me, go to my webpage: www.utm.edu/ssisk
We just returned from the Annapurna Circuit where we had a wonderful experience, Chuda, our guide, was knowledgeable about Nepal, its people, religions and the environment. He showed us different plants and animals along the trek. ON addition, he welcomed us into the kitchen of lodges along the way which enabled us to see and experience the Nepali way of life first hand. He and our porter, Rekh, spoke English and taought us Nepali. Overall, we had a fabulous experience and would highly recommend them.
The Annapurna circuit a great cultural experience with beautiful scenery – the Nepal I’d always imagined and wanted to see.
Our guide and porter – Chuda and Redh (Bhai) were great – knowledgeable about the area, the culture, wildlife (no snow leopard sighting, but that’s excusable), and great friends to us throughout.
Mongolian Trekking took great care of us while in KTM, while trekking, and in Pokhara. We had no worries knowing we were in their hands.
Thanks so much for a wonderful experience.
Great Trip – Langtang Valley and upto Chukur Peak – Brilliant!! Cheers Dawa and co. will see you again – sometime.
Had a great time trekking in the Annapurna region with guide Dilli and porter M. Dilli knows everyone in the mountains, so we had man good treatment at all the guest house. Good planning, good pace and good fun.
Chitwan was also good fun with heaps of animals. Definitely worth the visit.
The team at Mongolian made the whole experience effortless. Well recommended. Thanks!
GREETINGS FROM DENMARK. I HAD A GREAT TIME DOING THE ANNAPURNA ABC. IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE, THE NATURE WAS FANTSTIC AND I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! SO GIVE IT A TRY PEACEFULL THOUGHTS TO THE NONGOLIAN TREKKING AND EXPEDITIONS
The Irish Girls
We had a wonderful 4day trip. We managed to reach Poon Hill for sunrise – our greatest achievement!!
The scenery was beautiful and our guide and porters were very friendly and helpful. Their singing kept us going!!
Thank you for a great experience!
…an incredible trip. Dill our guide was fantastic and really made the hiking fun. Prem, our porter, was also wonderful and stayed with me on my slower days. I’ll be coming back! Mongolian trekking company is the best!
What a terrific time we had going to Annapurna’s Base Camp! Mongolian Trekking’s guide Dilli’s great attitude and knowledge of the areas, customs, politics, etc… Really added a great deal of value to our trek.
I pass along my highest recommendation.
Langtang is one of the more incredible treks we’ve done in southeast Asia. Our guide, Chhabbi, is perhaps the kindest person we could ever have hoped to travel with. We can’t say enough good things about him in the space remaining on this page. One story may help to illustrate his helpfulness. While returning from Kyangin Gompa my knee became injured (existing injury from long ago) and after cutting a walking stick for me, Chhabi refused to allow me to continue until I gave him much of the weight from my pack which he then added to my wife’s pack which he’d been carrying both directions. Chhabi is an excellent guide and extremely knowledgeable of the area and people. He went above the call of duty on numerous occasions in order to make our trip everything that it possibly could be.
Annapurna Circuit Trek, Besisahar to Pokhara. I was very glad that we had Chabi as our guide/porter because my knees started to hurt on only the second day. Without Chabbi I never would have made it up and over Thorang La pass… or at least not as quickly as I did! Chabbi is very friendly, easy going and flexible to changing plans during the trek as well as good source of information about local culture, language etc. We both enjoyed his company on the trek and recommend him highly!!
Thank you very much for a fantastic and well organized trek, if it wasn’t for you, I would be probably be lost still somewhere in Jomsom. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will leave Nepal with many great memories. So thanks again for your professional guidance throughout the trek.
28th Sept. 2003
I wish to express my sincere thanks to Min for his professional guidance throughout our trek of 10days. I will leave Nepal with such good memories and a greater confidence on hill walkers. I have also made a new friend or Min who I hope we will exchange many stories to come.
My thanks again to Min.
It was good to meet up with you again after 3years. I hope you enjoyed our 1st trek together and had as many fun as I had. Also good to meet your wife and children.
I will be back again one day.
28th Sept 2003
My new friend in Nepal, after everything I have been told about you, the way you helped organize the trek in 2000 it was a pleasure to meet you and find out for my self how much effort you put into making sure everything, and I mean everything was catered for.
Thank you for showing me your beautiful country and I will, with out doubt be back to see more. I’ll see you then.
Cheers mate, No worries.
In Sept. 2002 my sister-in-law and I did a full-service trek through Dolpo with Mongolian trekking. Min and Chhabi were our guides on the trek, which was very challenging both physically and logistically and which traversed regions that were politically unstable. Both Min and Chhabi were excellent as guides – resourceful and good humored throughout. I would heartily recommend Min for any trekking services in Nepal – if he can manage Dolpo, he can handle anything! Trekking in Dolpo now (2003) is apparently a difficult proposition. So I’m glad I had a chance to see this beautiful area that I used Mongolian Trekking to arrange it for me.
Thanks so much for this great three weeks that we spent together in Nepal. We all enjoyed this trip very much.
As you know that’s my second visit here in Nepal and I guess this will not be the last one. I really hpe that there’s a chance to see you again, probably it’s when you come to visit us in Germany. Like I told you, you are always welcome to stay in our house.
Anyway, we all know that it wasn’t very easy with us in the mountains, sometimes we were a little bit slow and it was great of you to give us the time we needed. Yours organization was great and we all felt were comfortable at any time. The Langtang – trip was a great experience for us all and to stay in your village with your family was something very special. So take care and I hope to see you again, may be in Nepal, maybe in Germany, maybe this life, maybe next life also.
Hello my little brother,
Being with you was such a wonderful experience. Hopefully you won’t forget our animal voices we did on the Langtang trek. Something like Bock Bock Bock or kiker iki or all the other funny voices we made. Both of us had a good time being the last two on our trek. It was sometimes very difficult for me but you always made me laugh. Like that Piriri song. Sometimes I am trekking, sometimes I’m angry… there is some piriri, talla was easy for didi Mathi difficult. To bring us in your village was a perfect idea. You have always be a very good guide and took good care of us. I wish you the very best for yours business and good provid. Don’t forget us. We won’t forget you my brother. Andwhen youfeel sad, read what we wrote about you and youwill feel better I think we will see each other, even if it’s not in this life.
Thank you very much for the amazing hospitality along our short.but enjoyable trek. It was a great introduction to Nepal life in and around the Kathmandu valley. The afternoon inchesapani was the best time we’ve spent in Nepal thus far. The people were tremendously friendly, the food was great, and some the views were outstanding!!!
Thanks again for everything
Thanks so much to Dhan – the crew for a great 5days. It was a blast! Chisopani was definite higlight of the trip. Everyone was so friendly. The food was fantiastic and hiking through the villages was very interesting.
Thanks for the great time!
Thank you for a great trip.
I spent 4 days trekking the Ghorepani/Poonhill trek. I did it in 4 days as opposed to the suggested 5 to instead use my 5th day mountain biking in Pokhara. After trekking + mountain biking, I went to Chitwan National Park.
The whole trip has been a pleasure. Everything was well organized & when my knee “borke”(gurung down-hill) Hira, my guide didn’t hesitate to also function as my porter.
Everything has been satisfactory. I will not hesitate to refer friends to Mongolian.
I am already planning to return & will do so as soon as I can afford the time +$
Thanks again & especially Thank you Hira.
Thanks to Mongolian and all its staff on a wonderful trip. A well organized and informative trip to the highest place on earth.
Thanks to the guide and porter for a professional job. Once again, thanks to all.
Hope to see you all again next year.
All the best,
For a spur of the moment decision, my trek fulfilled whatever initial expectation along the way. Mongolian Trekking is a professional Organization. I have learnt a lot, regarding Nepalese culture + how they expect to interact with foreign guests.
Thank – you,
I did a Trip to Sundarijal !
It was just a short Trip but great fun. And Pasang my guide and Min the office-chief, were like friends. I thank them very much.
Perfect service and really naturally friendly people!
If I come back for Trekking, I’ll do it in this office, that’s sure!
P.S. if you have some special wishes, whatever, they will be glad to make this wishes become true
We just spent an amazing 8-day trek with Min Thapa and our porter Buddhi. We couldn’t have asked for better company or better customer service. Min has honed the skills of taking care of his customers to ensure that we were always pleased – this included many conversations about Nepali, Tibetan life, food, culture, plants, geology.
Just was our first trek…..and we might just have to come back to visit another region outside of Annapurna.
Highly recommend Mongolian Trekking. And thank you for the wonderful memories. our 20 year old dream came true ! Thank you!
Thank you very much for the kind hospitality you have shown me in Kathmandu. You tailored the trek to suit my own needs, and whenever there was a problem you would do your best to try and help me.
After having completed the Annapurna circuit and the Everest Trek, I now feel a lot fitter and healthier, and I will definitely return to Nepal to do some more trekking.
You and your company have made me feel very welcome, and the deal you gave me was better than any other Trekking Company.
Look forward to trekking with you soon.
My tow day trek with experienced Suresh Dai was riveting, exhilarating, and at times cathartic. Reaching to Chisapani by 6 pm, we were greeted by the Himalayan Mountain range floating above the clouds. I felt as if I was staring into my dreams.
I learnt a lot of Nepali with Suresh Dai, and found that although we can see many differences between the rich Europeans and poor Nepali villagers, we also have a great deal in common: inquisitiveness, eagerness to learn about each other, and of course a sense of humour.
Min – Our new friend from Nepal
Thank you for your kindness + the good food that your wife cooked for us.
See you in N. Ireland
I first heard of Min and Mongolian trekking through my good friend Paul Hills who spent the best part of a year in Nepal and did many treks with Min. when he told me he had found the best trekking company in Kathmandu, I assumed he had also found the dodgiest but as he waxed lyrical about Min, I’d decided before I got here to contact him.
Paul was right as usual. Everything was excellent. The trek was well planned.
The lodge we stayed, the foods were all equally good. Only thing Min Couldn’t control was the weather. Min’s trek was a success. I got him to organize me a 3 day trip to Chitwan at Machan Resort-equally excellent and a Mountain flight on Buddha Air.
Thanks for everything Min. It was great and hopefully I’ll be back to trek some more of Nepal.
I emailed Min at short notice after deciding two weeks beforehand to come to Nepal. Straight away he replied and gave me advice on what trek I should do and how long it would take. The trek he advised was just what I wanted, and took the worry out of how to plan it.
When I arrived he picked me up from the airport and from then on everything was easy.
I won’t go on but Min’s help, hard work and cheerfulness contributed to an amazing trek which I’ll never forget. I will try to encourage my friends to do the same thing and book with Min because I know they’ll have a great time!
Thanks Min & we’ll speak again!

Seriously- One of the best holidays I’ve ever had. We wanted a “tailor made” trek where we could go at our own pace, eat what we wanted and be as anti-social as possible. So there was non-better than our 8 days out in the sun (and cold) of the Annapurna region.
We will come back again (via south East Asia) and make it the starting point for a belting holiday.
“Tell your friends, tell your friends friends” etc…(M. Turk 2006)
Min is a truly wonderful host – make use of him while you can as there aren’t too many nicer people. — Thanks
Thank you all for a wonderful Trip, A well organized and problem free Expedition to Pisang Peak & Chulu East.
The team of seven had a variety of characters which all gelled together to form a very good working unit and all carried out the task in hand.
This was second year with Mongolian and as I am coming back again next year to entrust
Min Thapa of Mongolian with my Expedition to Mount Lhotse 8516m the fourth highest on earth speaks for itself.
I am well satisfied with the service given and I will be entrusting my life with this fine organization again in October 2007.
All the very best to everyone at Mongolian and wish all a happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
To Pasang Sherpa & Mongolian Trekking & Expedition.
What a fantastic trip. Thank you very much Pasang for being a excellent guide and friend during our 21 day trek to Gokyo and Everest Base Camp!! Your English is excellent and teaching me some Nepalese made the trip all the more enjoyable ! I would recommend this trip to anyone and also recommend the services of Pasang Sherpa to make the trip all the more enjoyable !
All the best,
My trip to Nepal in April 07 after engaging the service of Messrs Mongolian Trekking & Expedition (P) Ltd was a memorable and wonderful experience. Mr. Min Thapa himself offered his valuable time to accompany and guided me throughout my 8-day trip. I took a short 2-day trek from Sundarijal to Chisopani and from there to Nagarkot. The trek was a good walking exercise, though the view of the Himalayan mountain ranges from Chisopani and Nagarkot was obscured by the cloudy sky.
Mr. Min was very helpful and friendly and was very accommodating in allowing me to change the itinerary to suit my need. The price I paid for the excursion was very reasonable, considering that I traveled solo.
Nepal is such a wonderful haven for trekking and I will certainly go back there in the near future to explore other trekking circuits with the service of Mr. Min Thapa and his team at Mongolian Trekking & Expedition.
You’ve been the greatest there’s no guide like you. Best of luck.
To Pasang Sherpa.
Thank you for a fantastic time in Nepal . Thank you Min as well . We really enjoyed the time trekking and the time in Kathmandu as well goodluck in the future and may all your wishes get me kind regards.
Thank you for all of your help. I feel sometime it is very difficult in Nepal but I am not worry because some good men are around me like you.
I think some work is take long time but eventually good work is completed and it is still progressing it is doesn’t matter success or not because we are now working.
20 of the most wonderful and adventurous days as any of the 3 of us have ever had . The best thing of all is that being treated as a family rather than a client . All accommodation and food along the trek was 1st class.

We had a terrific city tour with Jesus. He was very friendly knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. We learned a great amount about the local history, culture and religion. It was a terrific experience and gives many thanks for the tour.

Many thanks to Min and all at Mongolian trekking for a fantastic and memorable holiday. Our guide Lok and porter JB were exceptionally helpful and always smiling and we couldn’t have had a better company.
Our route was ideal, taking in endless stunning views with of course the highlight being Annapurna base camp itself which was breathtakingly beautiful.
The teahouses were all clean and comfortable and food good especially the dal bhat which Lok & JB seemed to eat for breakfast, lunch and tea. Hope to be back one day to experience more of Nepal ’s wonderful hospitality and will be sure to contact Mongolian Trekking when I do. Take care and see you soon.
Thank you for a fantastic trip. We all had a really good time. We heard about Mongolian Trekking from a few different friends who had used and recommended you. I will certainly be passing on your details to anyone interested in trekking in Nepal . It has been a fantastic experience and your guide Lok was very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. J B our porter was full of smiles and they both helped make our trip what it was.
I found your company very good value for money as well. We were all very impressed.
Thanks again maybe see you again one day.
I heard about Min and his company through a couple of friends at work so had no calm about booking my trip through him. We were not disappointed. From the outset we were met at the airport and looked after exceptionally well from that part onwards.
Our guide Lok was fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us throughout the trek and after also. JB our porter was also brilliant and never stopped amiling for 10 days even at the top of 3000 steps after carrying our luggage all the way.Can quite honestly say that this has been one of if not my top holiday to date as with all the scenery and helpful guide etc, it was all easy and left us plenty of time to gaze at the most incredible views I have ever seen.
Thanks Min and take care.
Thank you so much for wonderful time and showing me the best places around Kathmandu . Your Hospitality and big smile will always be in my memories. Gyanu your wife and your little girl and boy for a lovely meal and welcome. I will never forget it and finally thank you for organizing my stay in Chitwan –it was unforgettable experience!
P.S. Watch out! I am going to send lots of friends to use your services!
Lots of love
Annapurna Circuit and Base Camp.
Hi there! I’m writing this to tell yaabout my experience of the Annapurna region and also of Mongolian travel. When I arrived in Kathmandu , Mongolian travel was very friendly and very helpful. They arranged my guide for my 3 week trek and also my permit and transport etc, it made things very easy for me. My guide AB was fantastic. He was great company and he worked very hard to look after me throughout the whole trek. He was also very flexible and so it was easy to change my plan as I went along. When I got back to Kathmandu (bit of a shock after the mountains!) they continued to look after me by taking me out to dinner and sightseeing around Kathmandu . I am happy to recommend both Mongolian Travels and my guide AB to you –
06 Dec 07.
Thanks for looking after us from start to finish. The trek was amazing and hopefully one day my legs will recover. Your choice of hotel and guest houses was great. Also many thanks for inviting us to your house for dinner. Your family and the food are sipes! I hope to come back one day so you will have to improve your card playing.
P.S. Please thank your cousin for carrying our bags.

Huge thanks for the last two weeks, its been one of my most memorable experiences. Your help in everything involved with the trek is very much appreciated and I will be sure to recommend both Nepal and you to other people back home. The hospitality shown by both you and your family has been great.
06 DEC 2007
Thanks for a great two weeks in which I have flown past Everest trekked to ABC and eaten copious amounts of toast and honey. From start to finish your service has been excellent and your company has been a pleasure. I will long remember this trip. To sum it up in two words‘awe inspiring’. I will certainly recommend you to any friends who may wish to follow in my foot steps. Best wishes to yourself and family for the future. Maybe one day we can have another epic cards night with your cousin.

Thank you once again for a wonderful time in the Himalaya . A well organized expedition in the Lhotse/Everest area and a good time was had by all. Thanks to yourself, Jetta, Garma and Dawa for their wonderful work making my trip such a great experience.
A lot of good instruction and experienced work was gained from Jetta, on the mountains. I am looking forward to my trip to climb Cho Oyu next October 2008.
Thanks to you all once again. See you all next year.
All the best.
Dear Min and Ratna,
I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to trek through Rolwaling with your team! The experience was truly unique and life changing. Everything from the incredible views of Gauri Shankar to the homes we stayed in, from the gorgeous waterfalls to the delicious home made Daal Bhat, was an absolute treat. Ratna, you did a wonderful job of guiding us and explaining the local customs. Thank you to you both for making this experience such an incredible one. And many, many thanks Ratna for being my personal Jukka hunter !!
Thanks very much for organizing my trek to Langtang. The first day mathi, mathi, mathi was very difficult but bistarre, bistarre and I made it up ! Hira’s songs were a constant entertainment and the scenery was amazing !
Back safe and sound,

Re: Ang Thile Sherpa.
I have been most fortunate to have Ang as my guide and friend for the past 3 weeks on my trek of the Annapurna Circuit from Besisahar through Manang, over the Thorong Pass to Ghorepani, to Chomung and down to Pokhara. He was always very respectful and considerate of my feelings and desires. He is very knowledgeable about the trek, where to go, where to stay and eat and how long it will take . He was especially helpful to me when I suffered altitude sickness the day before we headed up to Thorong Pass. His experience in such matters allowed me to successfully complete this arduous trek without any further difficulty and to enjoy every moment of it with him. I highly recommend Ang Thile as a Himalayan Guide.
We went trekking for 12 days and we really enjoyed even though it wasn’t always a piece of cake. We were glad to have our guide as company. He could tell interesting things and was very respectful towards us. We were surprised to see his dancing skills and to listen to his philosophy’s.
We had a lot of fun !

Dear Min & Gokul.
Thank you very much for the great time we had during our 5 weeks of incredible trekking in Nepal . We enjoyed the enclosure to Nepali Culture on the Tamang Heritage Trail in the Gosain Kunda & Ganesh Himal Area. It was great to sit in a local home in the kitchen and to drink Raksi and see how our dinner is getting prepared.
Also the rafting & safari was a great experience and we are looking forward to our next time in Nepal .
Our Guide Gokul was much more than our guide and we really enjoyed the time with him in the mountains. He was a perfect planner but also let us do our own decisions. Thank you very much being so uncomplicated with you we could easily finish our dream around Annapurna & to ABC in even one day less so we could enjoy & relax in Pokhara one more night. We already look forward to win in Dhumbal, Rummy, Callbreak & Wizard, when we come back again.
We definitely recommend this Travel Agency & Gokul as the perfect guide.
Thank you very much for everything.
I really enjoyed my time in Bhaktapur and Chitwan National Park. I also liked the Annapurna Skyline Trekking. I hope to come back to Nepal soon and then go for a Tibet Circuit.

Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience. Trekking was really good fun, extremely tough at times but your friendly and accommodating attitude made every moment enjoyable. Thank you also for welcoming us into your home, we really appreciated your family’s hospitality and the meals were delicious! I hope I see you again one day and will try my best to send you loads of my friends from the UK!
Many thanks for your limitless hospitality throughout our stay in Nepal! We couldn’t have imagined enjoying ourselves as much as we have, the trekking was amazing (especially the visit to Poon Hill), your company was much appreciated + we found out so much about your country from you. You truly have been a perfect guide! Please thank Jeeban too for helping with our bags + your family for welcoming us in your home + preparing excellent meals for us! I am sure We’ll meet again in the near future, so until then…..
Thank you so much for an excellent trip + the great organization end-to-end. The trek with a fantastic guide + porter was a particular highlight which we really enjoyed. I hope we have an opportunity to visit again – and thanks in particular for your family’s kind hospitality.
All the best,
We really enjoyed our 8 days trekking with Lok to Annapurna Base Camp. Lok knew the area very well and was very familiar with the different Parts of the routes. He provided us with information about the local communities and the natural environment around us. We were thankful for his flexibility and ability to reschedule our itinerary so we could make the most of the nice days in the best places.
We stayed in 7 different guest houses, all with friendly staff and the most spectacular views. The food was great and in abundance, just what we needed for 8 days trekking.
“Mongolian Trekking” is obviously a well established, reliable & organized company. The trek was good value for money and we would use their services again if/when we return to Nepal.
Dear Ratna, Vishnu & Sangin,
Thanks a lot for the great experience up there, from Singati to Simigaun. We had a crazy bus ride but it was a part of the incredible trip. Thanks a lot for guiding us through this untouched piece of beautiful nature. I will be back? No doubt you were more than a guide only. A friend, our contact with the locals & their lifestyle, the one to translate, the one to make it a nice time.
Hope to see you guys again,
Dear Mr. Min & Gokul,
I would like to say thank you for your great job during and before my Langtang trek. It was the first trek in my life and I will ever forget it. Everything was great and so well organized. I hope we will see again on another trek in Nepal
I had a wonderful time in Langtang and Gosainkunda/Helambu
Good Daal Bhat
And a great porter & fantastic guide !
Thanks for the wonderful trip we had around Annapurna. It was our first experience with trekking and it certainly will not be our last one ! We had a good guide Gokul and a very nice porter JB, thank you Gokul and JB!
We are excited to go to the village of JB for 3 days.
Thanks for everything!
Dear Min and Lok,
Thank you very much for organizing our 2 weeks stay in Nepal. It was absolutely great and amazing time starting from rafting followed by Annapurna Sanctuary Trek and wonderful visit to Kathmandu and surroundings. We all loved it very, very much . I promise to come back to visit Mustang and my wife wants to come back for few days to Kathmandu which she simply loves !!!
Anyway, if someone hesitates what to do in Nepal and which company to choose, please direct them to me. I will be the best recommendation.
Oooo, and of course big thank you for you hospitality and wonderful dinner we had with your family. Lok –you are the best guide there is, with you our trek was simply a walk.
Min, just like Izabela described- just amazing. Thank you very, very much and see you again, Krzysztof (Chris), Poland

And we had these different views of many different animals : monkeys, red cobra, Yak’s our best friends !
And we had the best guide and porter! Sanu and Jiban! Thank you for this nice adventure!
Jam Jam ! Don’t worry chicken curry!
Thank you very much for organizing + arranging an absolutely amazing trekking holiday on the Annapurna circuit !! Thank you for your patience in answering all our questions & for all your advise + recommendations.
You’ve also provided us with an excellent guide + porter. We most definitely would recommend B.B + Neil. B. B’s experience + knowledge about the mountains, good sense of humour & efforts to ensure we were always happy + warm, made our holiday + trek special.
Also thank you very much for inviting us over for dinner with your family – your wife definitely makes the best dal bhat in Nepal !!
All the best for the future ! Hope to see you again!!
Dhanyabat ! Namaste!

Thank you so much for taking such great care of us! We greatly appreciated how much work you did in preparing our Kanchenjunga trek- even though we had to cancel it last minute. The Sikles trek was a perfect substitute given my mom’s lousy foot. The staff who accompanied us on our trek were beyond exceptional. We have become great friends with them & look forward to seeing them again soon. Also thank you, Min, for coming with us for a few days on this trek. We greatly enjoyed your company and were sad that you had to leave early! Also thank you Vijaya for coming on this trek as we had a lot of fun with you and were happy to have you English translator expertise with us!
Another trip you organized for us was a group rafting trip down the Seti River. My mom and I along with all the friends that would join us had an amazing time. Our rafting guides were great we all agreed that we would greatly recommend this trip anyone visiting Nepal. The birds, jungle, people, bridges, peacefulness and of course rapids were AMAZING!
Finally, thank you for also organizing our Bardiya trip. Our stay at Rhino Lodge was heavenly. Not only were we often the only guests there but we became very close with the staff there. Our guide Padam was amazing – we miss him!
Min, you have been an amazing trip organizer and more than that a wonderful friend. You have shown us much care and compassion throughout our stay in Nepal & we will never forget it! We truly came to love you & your family. My mom looks forward to seeing you in the Spring.
Good luck with everything & take care!

We’d like to thank Min, Lok, JB and Jiban so much for making our Nepal experience so memorable. From the outset Min was extremely helpful and answered and question we had in a prompt and efficient manner. We were so looking forward to meeting him and he showed us amazing hospitality once we arrived by inviting us into his home for dinner with his lovely family.
Our guide, Lok(“Cheeky”) and porters JB (“Speedy Gonzales”) and Jiban (“the monkey”) were ever-smiling and did enough for us on our trek to EBC and kalapatthar. They were also flexible allowing us to adapt our schedule as we went along with a “no problem” and happy. We thoroughly enjoyed their company, especially in the evenings playing cards beside the fire.
Min also organized a trip to Chitwan National park- washing elephants in the river was a once-in-a-lifetime experience we will never forget!
We will definitely recommend Mongolian Trekking to our friends and family back home. Min and Co were always professional whilst maintaining a personalized service that we really appreciated.
Thank you so much !!
PH Lim and family (Malaysia) December 26, 2008
My family and I had a wonderful and enjoyable trip in Nepal. We went trekking (in Thamel, Kathmandu and the temples and monasteries), seeing the great vies of the Himalayas and Annapurna, eating Nepalese food (Vegetable curry and chapattis) and having Min and his brother and Vijay as our guides and friends make this a memorable trip for us.
Min has been very attentive and accommodating to us and friendly and trust-worthy. We have no regrets engaging Min and Mongolian Trekking and would like to thank my friend Mr. Ong Kay Swee for indroducing us to Min.
Would I introduce Min and Mongolian Trekking to my friends? – Yes.
Thank you and wishing Mongolian Trekking all the best. To Min I wish you long life and happiness.
27th Jan 2009
Thank you so much for all you help and advice! Particularly pointing out my mistake that $ 100 is not NPRs 100. It saved me a lot of money! We really enjoyed out two day trek, we feel better prepared for Annapurna now!
We really appreciate your help in booking the activities. We really enjoyed Chitwan & EverestFLIGHT.
Thank you for your hospitality when we first arrived. It was lovely to meet your family and talk to your children.
This trip wouldn’t of been as good if we hadn’t of had your expertise to help it run smoothly.
All the best
Dear Min, Namaste
Thanks for wonderfully efficient and enjoyable expedition to your country Nepal. You were a great host and never let us down and I’m sure that we will come again. Special thanks to you and Yanu and your children Suju and Sujan for your hospitality. We shal send you a few photos of the trips when we get home to the UK. I the meantime, the best of health and success to you all
From my first email to Min, who was recommended to us by Trail Finders, everything was very efficiently organised.
Min answered all our questions straight away. He met us at the airport organized our Everest Flight and everything else for us. It was very kind of him to invite us to his home to meet his family, a great honour !
So we have finally come to our last day in Nepal after an amazing three weeks on honeymoon. Min has made the trip really special – even down to arranging for tiger to be heard growling while we were trekking around Chisopani !
The trip was really well thought through every step of the way & Min, Luk & Bijay have shown genuine Nepalese hospitality.
This three week trip has just sown the seeds – & we hope to plan a much longer visit in the near future.
Thank you once again for everything
I had a great time on the around Annapurna trek, everyday was so different ! I met loads of great people and everywhere I stayed had comfortable beds and good food. Ratna, my guide was great, he was clearly knowledgeable of the area and a great companion to walk with.
Thank you !
True heat, wind, snow. Passing rivers, sweeping bridges, blue lakes, high mountains, over little muddy roads and climbing the highest pass in the world !
An experience to NEVER forget !
With lots of thanx and respect
I chose Min’s company after speaking with a friend in Manchester, Paul.
I am so glad I choose Min as we had three fantastic treks here in Nepal. All his guides and porters and of the highest experience which makes the trekking so much more enjoyable. My dream was to come to the Himalaya and see the nature, meet the people and get a good feel for Nepal thank to Min, mission accomplished. Thank you very much for a great time not only trekking but with your lovely family.
Thank you so much for making my trip to Nepal so perfect. The Annapurna Circuit trek as fantastic and our guide BB was not only very experienced but very funny as well, and a good drinking buddy ! You have done far more for us than I ever could have hoped for: sorting out visas, collecting them for us, booking a very cheap flight to China for us, showing me around the Monkey Temple, arranging our rafting trip, arranging paragliding, sorting out all our transport (including making sure we could sit on the roof of the bus!), the list is endless !! If only every person I met on my travels was as helpful and kind as you.
Thank you for everything!
All the best,
I would like to say the biggest thank you to you and your company… you have been truly amazing – right from the very first email when we were still back in England ! Your friendliness and generosity has been remarkable and I cannot tell how touched I am, and how glad I am to have met you.
Thank you for sorting us out with a brilliant trek, and an even better guide and porter ! The trek was tough but I enjoyed every minute of it! I cannot exphasise enough, also , how much I appreciated you taking the time to sort out our visas and flights to China – going above and beyond your job.
It has been a real pleasure to meet your family – I love your kids! I wish you all the best with your company, and hope that life treats you well !
Many thanks again, and keep in touch !
Lots of love,
Dear Min, ‘Xin Chao’ from Vietnam !
We’re group of 03 Vietnamese that had never been in Nepal before. And from the first day we came here, we were amazed by your helpful assistance and hospitality.
Thank you very much to arrange the transfers, accommodations and flights quickly in such a short notice. The drivers were careful and punctual. Your suggested accommodations at the Red Panda here in Kathmandu and the Lumbini village Lodge were very nice. Thanks for your guidance of Lumbini and Kathmandu and the airport pick ups. We’re very pleased with your services. Due to our tight schedule, we are not able to visit other places out of Kathmandu but next time, we’ll consider the treking with you. We’ll recommend you to friends who want to visit Nepal in the future.
I wish you all the best !
Namaste, Hola, Hello and Salam from Honduras and Afghanistan!
Since I was living in Honduras, my home country and now after living and working for almost 5 years in Kabul, Afghanistan, visiting Nepal has been on my list always. Your travel agency was recommended by my Indian friend Mr. Sunil Inder Kaul from Delhi and now I know why.
My trip was especially tailored for me based on my needs & interest and even thought. I traveled alone, I always felt secure and everything came out perfect & great. My tour covered the Kathmandu valley (city & surroundings), Pokhara, Patan, Deopatan (Pashupati), the medieval towns of Bhaktapur & Thimi and the unique Everest Mountain flight Experience.
My biggest and sincere thanks to you and Vijay, my tour guide and all my personalized drivers for such an unforgettable and fantastic experience. Thank you very much for all what you did for me, for your help & special assistance in arranging my India visa. I am amazed by your generosity in making me fly from Pokhara back to Kathmandu, for paddling the boat for me at the Phewa Lake & I’m more impressed in having the honor & real pleasure in meeting and dinning with your lovely family.
My very best and tons of good luck & blessing to you, your wife, Sujan, Sujin and Suju Thapa.
I definitely highly recommend “Mongolian Trekking & Expedition LTD” as the best in Nepal.
I hope to come back and se you again.
A million thanks and NAMASTE !!
Cheers & Thank you!
The most experienced guide and the most strong and kind porter of Nepal for a wonderful trek in Langtang. By two Italians.
Thank you for organizing a wonderful trip. We weren’t lucky with the weather
lucky but we were well taken care of by Chandra. We were tired but happy we did the challenge.
(My 31st Birthday)
Dear Min & Family,
Thank you very much for organizing a great trip for me. Many of my friends & colleagues had already used you & I was not let down. Everything you organized for us in Nepal & Bhutan was perfect!
See you next time old pal!
I trekked with you in Nepal in 2006 and had a great time then. This time you organized a trip to Bhutan for me through your agent in Bhutan , ABC.
Once again it was an amazing trek which I’m so pleased I did. ABC was a great company, everything was easy & organized and our guide in Bhutan was, like Min, an awesome bloke!
It was also great to see your family again. You have three lovely children & a wonderful wife!
Thank you for making us feels at home here in Nepal & for making everything so easy.
Dear Min & Family,
Simon and I wanted to say just how much we have enjoyed our trip to Nepal . You organized everything for us so that you could just concentrate on enjoying ourselves. You thought of all the details. Thank you so much for introducing us to your wonderful wife & children- they were absolutely charming. The meal that your wife prepared for us was just delightful. Then the trek surpassed our expectations. Master and N B were fantastic guides to the area – demon card players – and we hope, because our friends. With the weather too, we were incredibly lucky and added to our wonderful adventure. Again, none of this could have been achieved without your, Min and we will absolutely recommend you to others.
Many thanks, Min
Your news friends,

I would like to thank to Mr. Min & the complete Mongolian team for making my Nepal experience wonderful. I had a great time in Nepal and I really appreciate the services provided to us.
Vijay, you did a great job and I will appreciate your services (god bless you)
I went to Chitwan & Pokhara and liked both the places in terms of destination, accommodation, food and all the sightseeing & activities which was arranged for us.
I will surely visiting Nepal again and will like to experience more activities and destination with Mongolian Trekking & Expedition.
Thanks a lot
Thank you for everything, it was really great to meet you. Honestly I was impressed and amazed throughout my trip in Nepal. I enjoyed every single moment in the mountains, cities and monuments.
I am sure we will meet again one day to discover the beauty of Nepal’s nature
Again, thank you Min thank you Vijay and all the team for your sincere services.
With love and respect
Namaste from Lebanon
My trip to Nepal has been an incredible experience. After collection from the airport I spent 2 days sightseeing with Vijay my guide. Vijay has both great knowledge and patience as I too many photos. I met my guide and porter and we left the following morning for Lukla to begin our trek . Every day seemed satisfying walking through forest. At last gorgeous mountains. Seeing sunrise at kalapatthar and Base Camp.
Min, his family, guide and porter have allbeen fantastic and I leave knowing I have more friends.
Just one last special Thanks to porter Sahib
Namaste and warm greetings from Nepal. This was the opening line on the first email from Min, and this sentiment has been followed through from start to finish. We have tour Kathmandu with the very knowledgeable Vijay, who seems to know everything about Hindu + Buddhist Temples and then onto the mountains with equally knowledgeable “Master” as our guide, not forgetting the hardest working, nicest lad on the team “Porter Sahib”. The trek to Everest Base Camp was great with a wow factor around every corner, “Truly Amazing”. All the guest houses were to a good standard and the good was always great.
I will not hesitate to recommend any friends wanting to trek in this awesome country to Min + his team
We had a wonderful time during our trekking of 24 days. We saw a lot of different land escapes & each was magical. It was a trip to never forget and for always in my heart.
Thanks to our guide who led us through the old little ways. It was sometimes a little hard but lucky we had good porter and good Dal Bhat. Hope to come back in a few years.
Miss you all naturally beautiful Himals
Trekking was great with Chandra. We see a nice part of Nepal. Gosainkunda lake was really nice few points and I’m glad that we made the pass. In the few year Chandrea speaks really well English and than he will become super guide !
Dear fellow Travellers,
We arrived in Kathmandu a couple of weeks ago not know what to expext. We were greeted at the airport by Min and his son which was very warm reception complete with flower garland !
For the next couple of days he made us feel more than welcome complete with dinner at his family home and a fantastic city tour.
We then set off to Lukla with Master (guide) and the ever-smiling J.B. (Porter) who were absolutely superb hots – they literally treated us like royalty.
And I haven’t even mentioned trek – two words – DO IT, and you will have an absolutely amazing experience.
Many thanks for making my trip to Nepal a really special experience. The Annapurna trek which I have done has been wonderful in every single details: great scenery, friendly people – all very well organized. Special thanks to my guide Tanka, who looked after me very well. I enjoyed every moment and will definitely come back to do more trekking. Thank you very much for inviting me to your home & and giving me possibility to meet your lovely family. It was really pleasure and honour.
I would definitely recommend your company to my friends and I have already started to think about other treks I could do in Nepal.
Thank you again for amazing time ! I wish you and all you rfamily all the best for the future.
Icelandic volcanic ash may have delayed our start, but Min you had faith (based upon what I am not sure !?) that we cold make the Annapurna Sanctuary + Poon Hill in just 8 days !
Well, make it we did, guided by Shanker and with your fine nephew as porter, all the way up there and all the way back. Plus, since the general strike meant no road transport back into Pokhara, walking night back to lakeside !!
We had a truly amazing time – a life- changing experience. We miss the people and the villages and the foothills already, and most of all we miss the mountains, We will be back one day without doubt. Their spirituality and shear physicality will draw us back to beautiful Nepal !
So, thank you Min and everyone, it was perfectly organized despite some adversities and it had personal touch plastered all over !
Thanks for having organized our permit and my flight ticket on the wayback (for the trip) from Juphal to Nepalgunj and from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu.
We just came back from a short trip in Annapurna (4 days only) with Master and it was fantastic. We got really lucky because going in June you are not always guaranteed to see any mountains and we saw a bunch – very beautiful ! Master was fantastic and we had really great time – thank you so much !!
It was always a dream of mine to trek in the Annapurna region of Nepal and with Min Thapa and the Mongolian Trekking company my dreams came true. It was better than I could have imagined. Contacting Min just a few days before my departure to Nepal, I was unsure if I had left organising things too late, not so. Min was very accommodating and patient while we tailor-made an itinerary to suit my needs. While in Nepal everything went like clock-work and my guide “Master” was knowledgeable and very good fun. All in all the experience is difficult to put into words. My thanks to Min and Master for giving me the experience of a lifetime, one that will live long in the memory.
We did 5 day trekking with Shankar dai to Poon Hill. Shankar dai is a great guide and funny. He always made sure we had enough to drink and he went cooking with the people. We loved the walk, the laughter, the food. We had some killer-weather, but besides the clouds, we enjoyed the mountain – jungle adventure. We hope when we come back someday to have another great adventure with our Shankar dai to see white tops !
We love you Shankar dai
Thank you so much!
Dear Min & Som,
Many thanks for an incredible experience. The trek to ABC, the sanctuary, was beyond expectations. Thankfully the weather cooperated at this time of year ! Som, thank you for good nature, kindness, and laughter. And especially for bringing my pack up to ABC so that I could experience such a magnificent morning there for a second time. We had wonderful trek and you were both so kind & helpful. Many thank & best wishes to you both.
Thank you very much Min for this wonderful experience. I will remember this trip for all my life and I hope I will be able to do something like this again! I will also miss Jett’s good humour. Of course, because we were in the monsoon season, we had a lot of clouds and rain, but the good weather we had on the Thorong La Pass made me forget all the bad weather we had! We saw some mountains!!! I was glad I didn’t experience too much altitude sickness, thanks to Jett’s good advices!
Thank you so much again!
Dear Min !
Thank you very much for our holiday in Never End Peace And Love (NEPAL)!!!
We saw different Nepal
1. Firstly we came to study Yoga in Ananda Yoga Center near KTM. It was perfect school of ancient art of love and harmony. Shivgiri and Ganga are perfect teachers. Thanks for their hospitality and warmness.
2. Secondly, we came to trek in Annapurna region. It was monsoon. But we really enjoyed the trip. We unfortunately haven’t seen the mountains but meeting with wild nature and real village Nepalese life was perfect!
3. We had Mountain flight to Everest. It was fantastic !!! We saw the Himalayan range closer, that it seemed that we are in some other dimension !!! It is brilliant !!!
4. We spent some time in Kathmandu, Thamel, saw Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Patan Durbar Square, Monkey Temple. It looks great !!! Also Manang Hotel is very good !!! We’d like to thank Min and everybody who works for him for professionalism and hospitality & care!! Special thanks for Min’s wife for brilliant dinner we had in house.
Namaste, Peace & Love !
It has been a pleasure to stay in Nepal for 5 days and you have made things very easy. Thank for everything. Hope to see you in Spain sometime.
World Champion 2010!
Thank you so much above all!!! You are good guide! You take care of me every time. It is very important for me. If my friends will come to Nepal, I will recommend you, just you.
Thank you so much for trip. It was very interesting.
Min, I wish you good luck and good life for you and your family.
Thank you so much for what has been a truly awesome holiday. I’ve had so much fun, experienced lots of things which are far removed from anything I have ever done before.
I have never felt so welcome in a foreign country as you made me, inviting me & Marie into your home not once but twice!! And filling us to bursting- dherai mitho! I am very glad to have met your lovely family.
Trekking with Shankar, Jivan & Nara was fantastic. Jivan & Nara were strong & very patient with us, whilst Shankar was a great guide – we learnt a lot from him. The views were amazing, despite the weather, and we both enjoyed it very much.
You have gone so far out of your way to make this a great trip & to cater to every need & want. I have never felt so well looked-after! I will definitely be coming back, maybe to Annapurna this time! I wish you and your family the best of luck and health, and hope to come back for more momos in the future!
I have had the most fantastic month in Nepal and much of this is down to you ! When Paul at Trailfinders put me in touch with you he said I would be in safe hands & he irir566s absolutely right ! Trekking with your friends & family made walking through the mountains so much fun! Nara is the fittest man I have ever met & Jivan was so lovely & Shankar well his an absolute legend! He taught us lots of Nepali phrases & always made sure we were full of ginger tea + biscuits, and he was so patient with the keeping the pace, bistarai bistarai (slowly, slowly) & always had a smile on his face!
Chitwan was a great experience – we really did met the jackpot on our elephant safari & got to see rhinos, crocodiles, monkeys, deer, wild boar + lots more!
And paragliding in Pokhara! AMAZING ! I can’t recommend it highly enough. Tell your customers to ask for Raj ! I got the best ride of everyone that day & even got to do tricks as we descended.
A few quiet days at the Ananda Yoga Centre has been just the right way to finish off my stay in Nepal – thank you so much for making it possible & everything else! You’ve accommodated my budget, always got us the best room & introduced us to the loveliest people. In fact, the whole month I’ve been here I haven’t met anyone who hasn’t been friendly & welcoming – what a fantastic country !
Thank you for making me feel so safe & welcome, especially in your own home. It’s been fantastic fun playing cards with Suzu & Suzan & your wife’s momos are out of this world – Mitho chha !
I’ve absolutely fallen in love with Nepal & hope to return very soon (for the elephant Polo!) THANK YOU MIN!
Lots of love,
Excellent trip on the Annapurna Circuit. The trekking was awesome and I met a lot of very interesting people. Sceneries were unforgettable, and I wish it has last for longer.
I will definitely come back to Nepal for another trekking like ABC or Everest Base Camp.
PS. Thanks Min for the help with the passport and everything.
We travel together with three people, me, my wife & my brother. This time we chose India & Nepal. My friend Rafal advised me to take a guide Mr. Min Thapa from Kathmandu to organize our trip. We arranged everything via emails. I prepared the trip scheduled and Mr. Min booked everything. In our opinion it is the best way to visit India & Nepal with no time losing for looking forHOTELS AND means of transport. India part was organized very well with a guide waiting for us at the airport. Mr. Min thapa himself is very nice and honest guy. We have also had a chance to meet his family, for what we are very grateful too. He was always ready to any help and was offering the best solution we could have.
Thank you very much !
I am sure we will meet again soon
1 November 2010
Thank you Min for the excellent arrangement for our holiday in Nepal
After speaking to Paul Hills in Manchester UK, he told us you were the best and this is true.
We have had a memorable holiday in Chitwan National Park and Pokhara. We also enjoyed meeting your lovely family and excellent hospitality.
Nothing was too much trouble and you always had a smile on your face.
With kind regards,
1 November 2010
Tibet was great!
We were picked up by the guide on the airport and the first days went to Monasteries & sightseeing around Lhasa.
After that we went further into Tibet, visited monasteries. Everyday we had different sceneries, beautiful mountains (in a lot of different colors & shapes), a sort of desert, landscape. We had a 4-w-drive, so we made a few shortcuts through the mountains (in stead of the highway). All accommodations were great, the guide & driver were great (and real Tibetan people). We had some bad luck! it was very clouded on the Mount Everest, so no good pictures of that. When we went back to Nepal, we were picked up and driven to Kathmandu through beautiful mountains. All together a great experience! It took us 11 days in total, that’s good to see all the important highlights of Tibet.
Also very important: Fly-in and drive-out. So, you prevent altitude sickness.
With kind regards,
November 3, 2010
Dear Min: Thanks so much for arranging our Helambu trek. This is the second trek I’ve done with Mongolian Trekking, and everything worked out great. Four days up, four days down, just the right level of difficulty we were looking for, very diverse landscapes with great mountain views. And JB was fabulous as a guide, always attentive and ready to help when we had problems. I’m sure we’ll be back to do more treks with you — it was certainly encouraging seeing the number of “geezer” trekkers in Helambu (age 55+); if I stay in some kind of reasonable shape, I’ll be doing this for years to come!
Thanks again for a wonderful time, and for all your hospitality —
4th November 2010
Out trip was great !
5 days trekking in Poon Hill, reaching Chitwan by rafting and enjoying the Island Jungle Resort, everything was perfectly organized!
And we really enjoyed our guide and porter who are very nice and friendly.
Next time in Nepal, we’ll ask for Mongolian trekking, c etait vraiment tres bien !
I would like to say thank you to Mongolian Trekking & Expeditions as our trip was perfectly managed and we always have dedicated and friendly guides.
I will recommend it to my friend and relatives
Thank you ! We have had a wonderful time around the Everest region. More ups and downs than my legs can take- please tell your guides never to say that any day will be an easy, flat walk?!? Seriously our guide Birbal and our porter Kanchha were Fantastic.
We hope to be back again soon and will surely be back in touch with you. Thank you again to you and your family, your wife’s Momos were the best food we had in the whole two weeks.
Thank you so much for all your help whilst I have been in Nepal. You have been fantastic! I also loved meeting your family and will stay in touch.
My Three passes Everest Trek was amazing, I am so leased I went for that one so that I went off the beaten track. It was though going, especially Cho-La Pass, but Jetha was such a brilliant guide and I completely trusted him- we had a good laugh, especially at his mountain Chicken impression !! It was great that he was so experienced as other guides were constantly asking him the way and the names of the mountains. I would love to come back and do another trek maybe one into Tibet so will come with friends.
I also had a great time at the Chitwan National Park, it was great to get out of Kathmandu and see another park of Nepal. The white water rafting was a great way to get there rather than the 6/7 hr bus ride!
You have been so generous to me and a great help throughout my 6 weeks and I will definitely tell everyone about your company.
Please send my love to your family and I will stay in touch.
11 Nov 2010
The Poonhill Trek was absolutely beautiful & the villages along the way were very nice as well. All was the perfect trek for those who are not going up to ABC. I hope you have an amazing time, too. Thank you Mongolian Trekking !!
20 Nov 2010
Today is the last day in Nepal & I truly hope to come back to this beautiful country.
Trekking was a unique challenging experience & I am happy that I tried it. The authenticity of Himalayan villages, people and sceneries was deeply touching and inspiring to appreciate life & beauty of this world every single moment.
Many thanks to Min, Birbal and JB who helped us and took care of us during this trip. The last day sightseeing in Kathmandu is also highly appreciated.
Even though the trip was only 5 free day, We managed to see & do more than was expected and We will keep wonderful memories of this experience all life J
Thanks again & Keep in up !
22nd Nov 10
Starting from Jiri was the perfect itinerary for us. To see Mt. Everest emerge in front of our eyes was one of the most spectacular thing & have ever seen Our porter and guide were very patient and the Himalayan range amazing. We have become well accustomed to Dal Bhat ! It was a beautiful experience and will never forget it.
This journey was an incredible trip for me. I had the most amazing trek to Annapurna Sanctury and Base Camp. My guide Shankar and JB Thapa as my porter. I was by myself traveling in Nepal but never felt for one second that I was alone. These two gentlemen guide me and looked after me like I was the Queen. I then traveled to Chitwan to the Island Jungle Resort where I saw rhinos and had a bath with the elephants saw most beautiful birds and rode elephants into the jungle. I cannot say enough about the fine care and attention I have been received from Mongolian tours. This has been a trip of a life time and I will never forget all the people who have so little but give so much. I wish I could bring them to Canada with me. Thank you everyone for making me feel safe and welcome in Nepal. PA Nepal was so interesting to see and all the hard work every does is helping so much.
From the bottom of my heart Thank you.
27 Nov 2010
We had en exceptional time in Kathmandu with our host & guide Bijay. We saw many exotic things and formed memories that will stay with us forever. This was the first time either of us has visited Nepal and we will surely be back. With a limited amount of time we stayed mainly around Kathmandu, But this was the start of an adventurous drive to Lhasa as well. What an experience that proved to be the drive out of the Kathmandu valley up onto the Tibetan Plateau is one of the most remarkable either of us have done.
Mongolian Trekking arranged all of this for us and the logistics. And people we met and who held us were all very good.
Out guide in Kathmandu and who accompanied us to the Tibet boarder, Bijay was particularly helpful. He patiently answered our questions & explained the culture and sights of Kathmandu. Thanks to all of you. We were Lucky to find you.
Was part of the same trip with Phil as above and cannot say a bad word about how the trip went. Despite Phil losing his itinerary along the way, it didn’t matter because wherever we went we were met as we got off the bus or plane and were never disappointed.
Min and all the other staff he employs were a credit to Nepal.
The whole experience went smoothly and was top class.
4th December 2010
Arranged the trip via some friends’ recommendations back home. We visited Chitwan, Bhote Kosi, Pokhara and a trek to Poon Hill. Min organized everything for us and we didn’t have any problem at all.
first class trip and a first class gentleman !
Dec 10/ 2010
Thank you Min and JB of Mongolian Treks for the experience of a lifetime! I loved the ABC trek so much, I booked the Helambu Circuit trek right when I got back to Kathmandu.
Mr. JB Rai is an excellent guide and we had great time on both treks.
I recommend Mongolian Treks for their great help and execution in the two treks I did with them. Both ABC and Helambu Circuit are just stunningly beautiful treks and I would recommend both. If pressed for the time and had to choose one, I would go with ABC just for the closeness to the Mountains.
This was my first experience with Nepal and like many people I met on the trail it won’t be my last. I look forward to coming back and doing more treks with Mongolian Treks in the near future.
Thanks to Jit and Hira also for helping with the planning and introducing me to the company.
To all the Mongolian Trekking,
Thanks Min for organizing everything! Everything was smooth sailing 4 hassle free. Thanks to Jetha & Kanchha for the amazing trek and company. I will never forget you both, especially how much Dal Bhat you guys ate!
Thanks for an amazing time in Nepal !
Good luck with all your endeavours !
Much love and respect,
December 14, 2010
Nepal is crazy awesome ! Thanks Min for an unforgettable experience! The trek through Pokhara was the most exhilarating thing I’ve done in my life! Love Jetta & Kanchha, best guide & Porter can be in the history of guide & porters. Thanks again and I’ll be sure to be passing through Nepal again soon. If I had to give your satisfaction rating at of 10, I’d be giving 11.
December 21, 2010
Dear Min and Mongolian Trekking,
Thank you for arranging such a lovely trek and stay in Pokhara. You even arranged perfect weather !
Nara (porter) and Shanker were very knowledgeable and anticipated my every word. Their dispositions were as sunny as the weather. They were so very kind and polite.
Shanker is also Mr. nature, He was exactly on the lookout to show me flowers and animals. The monkeys flying through jungle and feeding on the ground were awesome.
Shanker was realistic with his trek, time estimate for the next days trek
The food was great and the guest houses welcoming and comfortable.
When I trek this area again, I will have Mongolian Trekking arrange my trip.
Regards and have a blessed and successful 2011.
29th December 2010,
You have done a wonderful job. Throughout our 7 days in Nepal, with a group of 9 people, we certainly feel safe and comfortable even though we had experience of rough ride to Lumbini.
The trekking trip to Pokhara – Australian camp gives us the best experience in life especially the coldness in the night and yet we are safe with your fellow staffs that give us the assistant. Thank you for your service, we would definitely make a second trip in due date. Once again, thank you very much !
Best wishes to Min and his team of dedicated staffs.
Thank you Min!
Thank you so much!
You are a good man and I hope …No! know! that in your life everything will be just good!
you have a good family and I am glad to know you.
My best wishes to you!
Min and Shankar!
Thank you very much,
Good luck, good health for you and your families.
I hope we will meet again!
10 Feb 2011
Thank you for the nice organization !
I was so happy to be here. I have been staying here for 15 days. Everything was good, the food, people.. so everything. I really enjoyed my time here. Sometimes I felt like I am at home. When we were frying meat at the roof and drinking beer, around me were nice people. So pity that I need to leave this place. Please thanks for everything.
I was pleased with the trip. had a very good time. people who were there, were always attentive and caring, ready at any moment to tell, explain, and do everything as you wish. and not knowing the language, I did not experience difficulties as there were excellent people to help me.
Short free to everyone who was there. thanks to their smiles and hospitality.
a magical, wonderful country, and here everything is possible.
Thank you very much! with Love and gratitude!
Thank you so much for such a wonderful adventure !
We have felt like we have been looked after like we were member of your family, your great kindness has been much appreciated. We will highly recommend you to all our friends who come to Nepal + encourage anyone and everyone to organize their trips with you !
We did the Helambu trek and had some problems as one of our party got ill and Min was incredibly helpful in getting her off the mountain. We changed our plans and the rest of us were still able to finish the trek thanks to Min and our excellent guide Chuda. Min has been incredibly helpful since we touched down in Nepal not just with trekking but with other aspects of our experience here. Min and his organization are friendly, helpful and home made our mouth here very smooth and enjoyable.

Thank you Min!
Dear Min, our Kathmandu fixer. You have really added to our trip with the fantastic welcome you offered us together with your knowledge, trust-worthyness + reliable nature.
We will hope to get the chance to recommend you to our friends if visiting Neal in future.
! NAMASTE !
One very nervous ‘Little London lady’ leaves her sister after a three month stint in south east Asia to arrive to the warm similes + greetings of a wonderfully welcoming Min Thapa… not only that but from Day 1 all the way through my stay absolutely everything was organized for me- my stay required absolutely no need to ever open my ‘lonely planet’!
The treks were perfectly chosen by Min. Certainly + by no means a ‘Walk in the park’ in fact I managed more blisters on my treks than running the ‘London Marathon’.
I can safely say I will be recommending Mongolian Trekking to all; specially those wanting to ‘shift a few pounds’ in a very short period of time! My trek has given me a ‘taste’ into a hobby and interest I can say I feel an addiction zooming on for! If you are looking for total harmony with nature- a challenge filled with adventure and memories of a lifetime- take up at least ONE TREK this trip !
Wishing Min and his family sincere future, success, health and beyond all happiness – what a fantastic family.
P.S. I wonder which one of my lovely friends is going to be the first to read this- watch this space!
Thank you for inspiring me + taking care of ME !
Wow ! It was amazing! Thank you so much for everything. I really enjoyed Bhutan, what a beautiful country! And many thanks to my guide and driver because they made my trip complete! I had really good fun and I will never forget this amazing, lovely, beautiful trip to Bhutan. Thank you so much .
If I wanna do an another trip, I will definitely come to you and recommend you to everyone!

Thank you very much for organizing the Mustang Trek for me. I had a wonderful time in Mustang and the camping was a new experience in Nepal too. Everybody did their best to make me feel comfortable. We had lovely 15 days with lots of walking and seeing all the monasteries in Mustang it seems Nepal is a fantastic country to travel and you help making it possible.
Thank you very much!
Dear Min and family
Thank you for making our trip to Tibet the best ever, our guide in Tibet was great also our guide for our short walk in Kathmandu valley. Also thank to you and your family to make my birthday special, will always remember that day. Hope to come again soon to Kathmandu. Will recommend you to everyone I know

Dear Min and all the family,
Thank you so much for making our trip to Nepal a joyful experience. We didn’t expect that much of care and accuracy especially when it comes to our guide Vijay who made our experience a really awesome one. Not only has he constituted a very good and patient guide, he also became a friend, a very dear one.
Thank you again for all your efforts. We’ll stay in touch and we will definitely recommend you guys for every friend who is interested in coming to Nepal

Dear Mr. Min,
The whole family asked me to write something about our experiences. First of all we would like to thank you and everyone, the porter, guides and cooks for the great experience. It was fun for everyone, young & old. Even the elderly had a great time with the Royal trek. You personally made sure that all our wishes were fulfilled. Nice food, good accommodations, splendid views, lots of drinking, singing and dancing. Of course such good views helped to keep the mood and atmosphere top notch !
Everyone was very friendly and was ready to listen tour every whim.
We had a great time and will miss the country and people that toucht us all so much.
Thanks again and we will recommend www.tripnepal.com to all our friends in Europe.
Greetings and Namaste,
23rd December 2011,
Thanks Min + Bhim !!!
A great trek, so short (two days!!) but packed with fun can’t wait to book the next trip, hopefully ABC, must start saving now..
To anyone wanting to do a trek, we would heartily recommend Min and Bhim !
Love and best wishes,
Thank you guys !
Wow, Annapurna Base Camp for 12 days was an epic experience! From start to finish the trip went fantastically smoothly and thanks to Jetha I stayed in some amazing places. Walking up and looking out at the perfect view of Annapurna and the surrounding mountains is a memory that will stay with me forever.
Along the way I met so many like minded and interesting people who enhanced the experience for me. Jetha is a phenomenal guide and Mongolian treks is a brilliant company. I would recommend anyone thinking of trekking to use Mongolian treks. You won’t regret it!
Thank you Jetha and everyone at Mongolian treks – Hopefully I’ll be organizing rafting in a few weeks with them and I’m sure that will be equally as memorable!
Cheers for the memories !
What an amazing trip! Everything was arranged so perfectly. Min was great at providing us with everything we needed and gave us all the information necessary to feel confident prior to trekking. Our guide was brilliant at arranging guest houses & alternative quieter routes. He kept things exciting and he had so much local knowledge. He will remain our friend for life after this trip. I will be recommending Mongolian trekking to everyone. You will never regret going with this company. It was totally stress free and it was the best experience we have had travelling through Asia, mainly due to the excellent & friendly service provided.
Thank you so much, we look forward to coming back & trekking with your company next year!
We were a mixed group of UK and AUS citizens. Min did a great job bringing all the strands together and organizing the logistics on the ground. We trekked from Simikot to Tibet and did the Kora of Mount Kailash. We were very ably supported by Chuda and Jiban who took care of our every need.
– Alan/John Clark
We had a great time trekking and were very lucky to have had perfect, clear weather. The 6 day trek to the Tibetan boarder was wonderful and then we were off to Guge – a real unique experience. Finally the Kora – being an older group our two guides had their jobs cut out for them they managed + coax us all over the Dromala pass. Great service and great organization – Thanks to Min and the “team”
– Shaun Mccarthy
What a challenge! Enjoyed the whole trip – even the difficult times. Tibet was a revelation – like medieval England with mobile phones. What a beautiful country is Nepal – the scenery is stunning and lovely people too. Thank you Min, Chuda and Jiban for making this an unforgettable experience.
– Penny Picken
– Ann Clark
Was recommended Nirmal to be my guide by some fellow travelers I met along the way – definitely do not regret it. Was hesitant doing the trek by myself at first but I was made to feel extremely comfortable which was refreshing! Managed to complete the Annapurna Circuit – Could not have been done without Nirmal helping me along the way- especially with my bag pack. I was too stubborn to get a porter. Made it to the pass very slowly but managed to avoid rain + leeches even though it’s monsoon season + made it out alive. Saw some incredible scenery + came across many friendly people. Was great when the cloud cleared & the mountains were visible. Will have to come back one day to do Everest Base camp or more! & beat Nirmal 100 more times at cards…..he isn’t very good..
Will definitely recommend Mongolian Treks & Expeditions to anyone I know coming to Nepal – was well taken care of – got exactly what I wanted out of Nepal + was able to enjoy the beauty of the country for the last 2 weeks of my travels!
Can’t thank you enough…
Thank you for a wonderful trip. We did the Annapurna Circuit, Min was very helpful with suggestions via email and we managed to do it despite monsoon weather. Our guide Chuda knew the roads and short cuts very well. So, we felt in very safe hands. Jiban, our porter was also very helpful and we enjoyed many nights of ‘Ten Killer’ Nepal card game which they taught us.
We look forward to our next trek with you.
We attempted Island Peak, the trek was amazing however we didn’t summit the mountain, the guide was amazing and got us closer to the peak than any group this season. He immersed me in the culture, educated me along the whole way. Such an amazing trip. I can’t recommend my guide any higher. Such a professional!
15 Oct 2012
Thank you Mr. Min !
We dreamed about going to Tibet and you helped us make it.
We have been in Tibet and enjoyed it very much. Our guide Tashi was great and very professional and kind.
Thanks again for the tour in Tibet!
16 Oct 2012
Thank you very much for the trip you arranged for us. The Gosainkunda trek was amazing despite the headache. It was like cleansing for us.
So, we are heading to airport, that’s why everything in my script looks not so goodJ
We still in a trip and waiting for Lumbini and Varanasi and hope everything would as fine as previous ones.
A few words on our guide – Chandra- very strong guy, he was super good. When we were at 4200, I have lost all my strength because of the headache and he ran to the lodge, then back and helped in carrying my bag.
Also thanks for your nice meeting us as guests in your house. We wish your daughter, who was with us, luck and good study in a high school.
We wish you and your company many luck and good development.
October 17, 2012
A great Thank you for having help us to realize our dream. The bike-trek from Lhasa to Kathmandu!
We had a really good and nice organization. Nice weather and really good time.
No problem, only fun and pleasure.
Thank you, we got the permit to travel in Tibet, we will never forget. Best regards,
18 October 2012
Thank you very much for a fantastic trek to Everest Base Camp.
The trek was expertly organized and Kumar, our guide, did a great job at ensuring everything went smoothly. Kumar really helped us to acclimatize to the high altitude of the Himalayas, and guided us through all the different trekking challenges.
We were all very pleased to make it to Everest Base Camp- it was well worth all the effort involved.
We had some great – and fun – experiences along the way, and learned so many interesting aspects of the Himalayas and the Sherpa way of life.
Would recommend Mongolian Trekking treks as a great way to explore the Himalayas and reach Everest Base Camp!
A big thank you to Min, to Kumar our guide and to our extremely helpful porters.
Thank you for this wonderful trip. The scenes of your beautiful countryside is amazing. Love the momos & King’s curt too.
Let us know when you come to Malaysia
Dhanyabaad !! Keep up the good work. You’re such a great organizer, Congrats!!. I really enjoy this trip.
Hope to see you again !!
Thank you so much for guiding us during this Poonhill trek. The trek is a wonderful trek and with great experience.
I will definitely come back and support you when I come back to Nepal again.
By the way, all the guides porters like Saman Lama, VJ and others are very helpful. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to reach Poonhill.
Next target – ABC !!
All the best and hope to see you again
Maraming Salamat !!!
Thank you for this successful photo trek, This is our lifetime experience. Thank you for guiding us for the whole trip.
Dear Min Thapa,
Hi, It was the best holiday trip that I had in my life!!! As you remember it took me a year to organize this trekking & photography for a group of 17 people and in the middle of the preparation I thought of cancelling it as I was not sure I would make it or not as I have severe right knee injury (ligament tear) thanks to Donjoy knee support and trekking poles that helped me go through it successfully to Poon Hill. Also thank to the wonderful team of Min Thapa who assisted me carrying my heavy camera bags throughout the trek. Thanks to BJ, the guide who followed me closely through the trip. I enjoyed all the guest houses & most importantly the nice food I had for the 6 days trekking.
I love Nepal not because of its beautiful landscapes and nature but its wonderful nice people who are humble, simple and helpful. I will definitely come back again hopefully by 2014 to explore more challenging trek.
Thanks Min Thapa & the team
From the 22th of October to the 31st of October
Trek Langtang Valley & Gosainkunda Lake !
With Chandra our guide!
What a wonderful trek for 10 days; starting from Bamboo lodge up to Kyanjing Gompa. We climbed Tsergo Ri (4987) Passing in Thulosyabru, a lovely village we went up to Gosainkunda lake. We met two old French ladies and Oliver our German “honey tea man” and travelled with them. We followed our guide Chandra, safely, slowly and surely. He was always happy and we trusted him. He teached us Nepali songs and we even made a new way in the mountains. We called Anais-Alex-Chandra path!
Thank you for everything and we recommend Chandra to discover the Nepali mountains!
Have a nice trek with luck
And Thank you for everything
From 14th October to 12th November 2012
Trek Jiri to Kalapatthar to Lukla with Chuda and Jiban (The Boss and the Lion King !!)
What a wonderful trek and stunning views of Himalayas and amazing memories of the special friendly people of the Khumbu region of Nepal.
We are both 60 years old and really appreciated the patience Chuda and Jiban showed us due to our slightly slower pace.
Amazing four weeks we will never forget.
Thank you Min, Chuda and Jiban.
Dear Min & J.B.
Thank you so much for a great trip. It could not have been any better weather and all was great. View of the mountains was amazing.
See you all again in the Spring
Dearest Prem and Min,
What a magical place! Thank you for a very special trek of the Annapurna Circuit and ABC, we had such a wonderful time. Prem and the porters were amazing, lots of laughing, dancing and talking.
Thank you for showing us the magic of Nepal. We will treasure this trip in our hearts.
See you soon,
08 Dec 2012
We are both very grateful to Marie for putting us in touch with you. We have had a fantastic time during our trip in Nepal and a lot of that is down to you. Thank you for helping plan our trip and making our time here so stress free and Enjoyable. We have managed to pack so much into our short trip and have experienced much of the diversity and natural beauty of Nepal. Our trip to Bardia was amazing I will never forget our encounter with the angry Rhino !! We cannot thank you and JB enough for our wonderful trek. We had a great time (especially after we got the water and Raksi confused). The views up there were stunning and you were both very patient with our slow ascent. I have visited many places with my work at the BBC but Nepal is at the top of my list. I would recommend a trip to Nepal to anyone, and would definitely recommend they get in touch with you. It was wonderful meeting your lovely family, thank you for your warm hospitality.
Please keep in touch + I’m sure we will be back to Nepal!
Thank you for the nice trip, nice car and nice hospitality. Next time I will come back for longer time and need your help for sure. Contact me if you come to Indonesia. I will be your guide!
Till we meet again
Dear Min ‘Our good friend in Nepal’
I would like to start by saying how thankful we are to Paul Hills at Trailfinders Manchester for putting us in contact with you.
We have had the most amazing time in Nepal and we owe that to you, your wonderful family and friends at Mongolian Trekking.
Whilst here we did the Ghorepani/Poon Hill Trek where we witnessed some breathtaking views and enjoyed the company of you and your brother Jamie who taught us some of the joys of Nepalese culture ‘Dhal Bhat, Black Tea & Roksie’ ha-ha.
Following our trek we felt very privileged to be invited to your home town Dubung. This was a truly unique experience that I would highly recommend to anyone. In the village we were invited into the homes of all the people living there and gained true knowledge of how Nepalese people live. Everyone there made us feel very welcome treating us as if we were their own.
On return to Kathmandu we were honored to be invited to your family home for dinner. The food was by far the best we have tasted in Nepal! And your family was some of the loveliest people we have met on our travels!
I am certain we will stay in touch! If any of your family would like to visit us in England we would love to meet them!
Please follow our website:
And keep in touch – email@example.com
Min + team,
Thank you very much for organising our holiday in Nepal. We have had an amazing time here. The trek to base camp was brilliant. We had such a good time + enjoyed every minute. Our guides Chuda and Jiban, were excellent and looked after us very well.
Everything has been perfect and we will definitely be back, hopefully to go to Everest Base Camp next time!
21st March 2013
Thank you so much for your excellent organisation of our trip. We loved it. Thank you also to your brother Jamie, who was so smiley and happy during our trek. We loved Nepal and we will recommend our friends to come here – most of all we will recommend you to them as you have made our trip so special.
You have been a great friend, with lots of patience. We are very sorry we didn’t get to meet your family as we were very much looking forward to it.
Thank you again and please come and visit us in Machester,
27 March 2013
I am overflowed by the great emotions, I remember amazing landscapes, absolutely new feelings, sincere contact with strong and such beautiful nature, tears of pleasure and a feeling if I were ten years younger. I was lucky with my best friend Kirill, who was sharing my emotions and enthusiasm all the way and who had the same physical training. But we both were very lucky with our guides, very kind and attentive people, helping us continually in every way!
Actually we warned you about our arrival less than in a day! You so hospitably met us at the airport and brought to the office, you didn’t know how long was our holiday and how we want to spend the time. I only had time to drink a cup of tea and say that I want to take everything from my life, as you already drove us back to the airport for the plane in Pokhara! Less than for half an hour you organized an excellent track, suitable our preparation, physical ability, suitable for our holiday duration (unfortunately, about 1 week), including the day off in Pokhara for shopping and the unforgettable paraglayding, with placement in such beautiful and cozy hotel near the lake and impeccable staff!
Dear MONGOLIAN TREKKING & EXPEDITION.
Maybe I’ll never understand why so few people travel to Nepal or Tibet, but they can rest for two weeks on the same beach in an expensive hotel in Egypt. What can be better than mountains? what may be the best test of fortitude than trekking?
I hope that my story about one week in Nepal with the events and spiritual growth as one year, will impress my friends and acquaintances. Those who have not walked in the rhododendron forest and saw a cloud of fireflies swirling around you, he missed the magic!
The best wishes and success in the business!
Thank you so much for such an incredible trip- once in a lifetime. I was very worried about coming to Nepal on my own but you made me feel so welcome and looked after me as though I was part of your family- this made such a difference to my trip knowing that you were always doing your best to help me!
The Everest Base Camp trek was Brilliant and I could not have asked for a better guide than Lakpa Sherpa. He looked after me so well and made the trek perfect!
Thank you as well as to your family, your wife is the BEST Nepalese cook! I’m sorry that I always got too full too quickly. I also feel like I have gained another sister – thank you Suju!
I hope to see you in a few years when I hope to return!
April 24, 2013
Thank you for all your help in getting to the top of Imja Tse. I would not have made it without it. Mr. Phuri was a wonderful guide and I am so glad you were able to arrange for him to take me up. You made my whole experience wonderful and you made it so easy on me to arrange everything for my trek and summit.
When I am back in Nepal, I will be sure to come back for some help arranging my next summit trip, after my first taste of mountain climbing, I definitely want to do more in the future.
Thanks again for all yoru help
3rd May 2013
Namaste and warm greetings to you. Thank you so much for all your hard work and efforts on our behalf. It is not every who comes to Nepal with their 93 year old father ! Your comfortable organization made the whole trip MUCH less stressful and your driver was wonderful.
Thanks again for everything
What a wonderful host you have been. There is no doubt that one of the reasons we will recommend a visit to Nepal will be because of your planning, hospitality & professionalism. On a personal level, we were touched by the courteous reception of your family. A holiday I will NEVER forget.
It was great to be met with a smiling, friendly face. We found your travel arrangements first class. And it was lovely to meet your family. Thanks so much.
16 June 2013
We were a few worry about climbing the Mount Kailash, but all passed very well. We had great wheather and it happened a lot of excitements.
For most of us, the bad weather in Simikot allowed a baothem in helicopter and all the staff was very very kind = porters, sirdars, cook and guide.
Tibet is very wide and desertic country with many colors and we enjoy every much the fantastic landscape of the Mansarovar lake. For Mount Kailash, it was a few difficult but successful!
A very good trek !
Thank you very much a famous team was with us, a French group very enjoyed with team of Mongolian Trekking (Chuda and Jiban) around Kailash from Simikot — Claudine Rubin
25th June 2013
Namaste, We will like to extend our warm greetings and million thanks for being such a wonderful person Mr. Min Thapa, your cooperation and your warmth help made our trip to Everest Base Camp extremely pleasant one.
The porter Mr. JB was extremely courteous and he does things from his heart even though he speaks minimal English. He is really a definition of the truthful Nepali which we have read in books.
Once again I think the porter should be given a tab on his back for being such a wonderful man and of rouse Mr. Min Thapa for being a great person for making our trip a memorable one.
Keep up the great spirit of being the truthful Nepali friends!
What an amazing experience that was! Surviving the flight into Lukla, then trekking to Everest Base Camp via Kalapatthar; then trekking to Imjatse base camp and attempting the summit from high camp, and trekking back to Luka for my flight back to Kathmandu. The weather was on my side at almost every stage and summit day on Island peak was particularly beautiful. I also didn’t expect such a full-on mountaineering experience with my fantastic guide Nawang. But because I climbed in June, the fixed ropes and ladder had already been removed, leaving us both to belay each other across the crevasses and to wade through waist deep snow. Absolutely amazing!
So, thank you for such a wonderful and authentic experience. Thanks also to my guide Nawang and to my two porters who all seem to posses superhuman powers! And not forgetting your wonderfully kind and hospitable family whom invited me in and gave me such a warm Nepali welcome!
Many many thanks !
We had a great and very exciting week trekking in Annapurna. The trek was not as easy as we thought but we made it thanks to our guide Jiban and porter Nissan.
Our preparation was practically nonexistent because this was a part of larger journey through Asia. Some more information on what to bring and how to prepare had been good.
Memorable moment was the morning trek to Poon Hill, all the good food and of course the final race to the airport.
We want to thank Jiban and Nissan for the support not only with practical things but also interesting facts about the region and the people, the tour of Ghandruk especially comes to mind.
I had a very good trip to Tibet. Here they were able to find me a small group (2 people) who also wanted to go to Tibet in this season.
Everything was very good organized. They recommended the more expensive hotels and I am very happy they did. Hotels in Tibet are not like here.
Lhasa was very beautiful and a city you must see. Finding a nice and cheap place to eat is not easy but they have amazing fruit and vegetable markets.
This was an amazing trip !
What an incredible holiday! We packed so much into our adventure filled days. Every detail of our trip was well organized and managed. The trip was well thought out giving us the opportunity to go white water rafting, take the cable car to Manakamana temple. Amazing views. The trek was just as we had requested; not too difficult but with stunning views of the scenery and spectacular mountains. Our accommodation on the trek was carefully chosen and well above our expectations in terms of cleanliness, quality and company. Our guide Jetta and porter Kumar were excellent. Jetta was very knowledgeable.
The entire holiday was tailor made to meet our needs. Would love to do another trip with this company – hope to be back to visit Chitwan. Many thanks to all the team at Boundless Himalayas.
Big thanks to Min and to all the Team! You were wonderful, helpful, always sooo smiling.
Without any doubt you made our trip an exceptional one.
We have never been so high !
Just arrived back from the most incredible journey. Annapurna was more beautiful and breathtaking than we could have imagined!!
Huge thanks to our awesome guide Jiban – wouldn’t have been the same without you, definitely number ek!! We have even learnt some Nepali trekking songs, found the wonder that is the local raksi – helping us to only go a little bit mountain crazy
Dhannebaad ! Namaste!
Not long arrived back in Kathmandu after a 3 week trek around the Annapurnas. Had the most amazing time as the trail was nice and quiet and despite the cold we had perfect blue skies the whole time. My guide Pasang was fantastic the whole time, very attentive to what I needed. We stayed in great hotels and ate lovely food the whole time, and I experienced Nepali hospitality throughout. This has been my first trip to Nepal and it has more lived upto my expectation. It certainly won’t be the last time. Thank you Boundless for an amazing trip – hopefully our paths cross again soon.
Very best wishes and sincere thanks,
A great first trek! Jiban is a fantastic guide. He was knowledgeable and helpful all the time. He and his father made a great team. Had a lot of laughs and a great time exploring towns, learning Nepali costums and bits of the language. Will come back and trek with them again.
Had a really great time in Kathmandu and up in the mountains. Although it was a struggle trekking up there, I made it with great support from the guide and porter. People from Nepal have great sense of humor and should never stop laughing even at the little things.
Awesome trip, will be back next time!!!
P.S One smile at a time.!
Dearest Min and team at Boundless Himalayas.
Returning to Nepal the second time was an easy decision to make. Thank you Min for making our trip so easy, enjoyable and memorable. Many thanks to Pasang our guide and the porter who looked after us the entire trek to Tyangboche.
Will definitely be back soon!
Much love and respect,
Today we arrived back from our trip Annapurna circuit trip to Kathmandu. During our trip we crossed the Thorong La pass which was a great challenge to us (-20 Degree C). We could manage the challenge with the great support from our guide and porter.
Apart from that thank you for the good organization!
Nepal is the most fascinating & amazing country. BJ was such a great guide to the Monkey temple. So glad we had such a great company to help us see the beauty of this country
Today was a once in a lifetime experience. Seeing Mt. Everest was a dream come true. I decided to look into the Mt. Everest flight options several months ago and Min has been an amazing expert from day one. Not only did he help with booking our flight, but also recommended what we should see while we were in Nepal. Min made what would have been a good trip, an unbelievably amazing experience. Thank you for everything that you did Boundless Himalayas Trekking & Expeditions
Had the most amazing experience on our trip to Nepal all because of my good friend Min. Him and the Boundless Himalayas crew took us all over and taught us so much about this amazing culture and me and my friends are very thankful and appreciative for all they have done. Cannot wait to come back in the near future and have their assistance when I come to Kathmandu from Hollywood to shoot my next film about this culture.
Much love from Hollywood, California, USA
This is supposed to be my great trip, this is round to Gokyo. Even I could not make up to the top, I appreciate Min’s team and the Sherpa guide(LHAKPA). He did a great job and good care to me. It left a memorable moments to the trekking days. Of course I have a chance to experience the world’s most dangerous airport (LUKLA). Hope to come again.
Thank you Min!
Cycling trip was wonderful, 3 days Nagarkot, Lovely guide and very helpful.
Poon Hill trek , hard on the legs but a wonderful experience. Will do it again I October.
Good guide and porter
We booked our trip through Min Thapa as we had heard how good their treks were. He came and met us at our hotel and give us all the information we needed and more.
Jiban + Kul came and picked us from our hotel and we were so lucky to have them as our guide and porter. Always smiling they couldn’t do enough for us. Always taking care of us all the time. As inexperienced trekkers it was a challenge but Jiban + Kul made it so much more easier for us. Jiban always made sure that we had the best places to stay and tried where possible to get us the best views which were nice after a long day.
We couldn’t recommended Boundless enough as the whole experience was great!
Thank you very much to Min, Jiban & Kul
I booked my trekking and Bhutan trip through Min Thapa and both were amazing . He has been nothing but helpful, friendly and nice throughout the whole trip.
My trek was amazing and it was organized to accommodate my schedule. The guide & porter were very friendly & helpful from the start to finish. My trip to Bhutan was well organized from start to finish. I can’t enough about the professionalism of the guide & driver.
I highly recommend using Boundless for any booking. I will be using Min again for my next trip to Nepal.
Thanks so much Min for all your help! This has been an amazing trip that I will never forget.
April 30th 2014
Although incredibly excited tohead to Bhutan tomorrow, it is with a heavy heart! Why? Because Min and his “Boundless Family” have become my family over the last month, and I will miss them so very much.
Travelling as a single 62 year old, my Nepali family have gone above and beyond to make my visit to Nepal and Tibet nothing short of spectacular. I am confident that my journey through Bhutan that has been organized with “Boundless” will be equally wonderful.
From the patience of Jiban, when my arthritic knee flared up during trek, to the safe and trusty driving of Arjun, the amazing knowledgeable guide of Vijay, the fun, youthful, spirited porter of Sujan and to the boss – Min – who oversaw every little detail to make my stay fruitful & memorable – the Boundless Family came through for me 100%
I take my leave from “The Hills” with a deeper understanding of the culture, history, religion, legends, peoples and geographic beauty.
I sincerely thank all in my new found family and will definitely encourage all friends & family to visit Nepal and use the worthy services of Boundless Himalayas. What an awesome month I have had!
Thank you for a fantastic 2 weeks trekking and climbing in the Everest region. What a beautiful place; stunning scenery.
Guide and porters were very friendly, helpful and looked after me when the going got tough! Met some lovely people, saw some amazing sights and of course the highlight was climbing Lobuche peak.
I will definitely be coming back to Nepal for more climbing in the future.
Thank you all.
Mustang was beautiful with lots of sunshine. The distance walked each day was about right but would get a porter in future. Jiban was very sweet and organized everything well & carried some of my stuff. He was polite and professional at all times. Thank you!
3/8/2014 Marek from London
I booked this trip to Nepal “by accident” – long story. My friend used Min 4 years ago and strongly recommended him to me.
Arrived in KTM, Min picked me up as planned. Hotel good choice.
Came back from a faultless trek so well organized by Min.
It was rather hardcore trek but very satisfying. 5 porters carried everything we needed all kitchen equipment, tents, food. I trekked to villages in the mountains where I was the only tourist they ever saw. What spectacular views !!!
Reception in Min Thapa’s village for me was like for a King. I was treated to local people folk dancing. Excellent- plus good Rakshi. Last lunch of the trek was on the bend of a steep rocky road, what views at lunch time on the hills, valleys. We finished in Damauli.
Then next day I arrived in Pokhara. Nice hotel Green Tara. I was lucky next day to experience paragliding – as there was only 3,5 h window for flying as at 3 pm the heavens opened. Then Chitwan, rain non stop. The important thing was for me that all was organized extremely well! I had 3 envelops with voucher for:HOTEL IN Pokhara, Paragliding and Chitwan. Transport was organized like it should be.
Perfect trip organized by Min Thapa!
P.S. Ronald Mendoza the Venezuelan pilot (Paragliding) from Avia Club Nepal was excellent. I wanted to soar with eagles, he found them and we did!
25/08/14 Pierluigi (PG) from Italy
Thanks to Boundless Himalayas and to Jetha, especially for giving me the chance to take my bicycle on the Thorong La pass (5416m). It was a great and satisfying experience. Around Annapurna I found not just an unforgettable adventure but also a beautiful friendship with Jetha ho thought me how to progress at high altitude and to love Dal Bhat twice a day.
This cycling trip was also part of a fundraising campaign for the: HIMALAYAN CATARACT PROJECT (HCP), so thanks twice, also on their behalf , for making a real difference to those suffering of sight problems and living in remote areas. For those of you who are about to set of for the Himalayas, enjoy each single step or pedal stroke!!
Best Wishes !
You guys were great!
Trekking in the Himalayas was an amazing experience. Thank you Boundless Himalayas. And thank you Pasang Sherpa for an amzing trip & for taking such a great care of me.
You all rock
All the best,
Nothing compares to the feeling of stepping foot on the summit of a peak with a panoramic view of the beautiful Himalayan mountains. MinThapa did us a gret deal and experience. Highly recommended
Had an absolute ball!
Highly recommend taking on a peak, we did Island and trust me what a day!! Highly recommend these guys.
Wow!!! Massive thanks to Min and Nar (my brilliant guide!), had such as great time trekking up to Poon Hill !! I’m sure my legs will ache for the next week, but it was totally worth it!!
Really great service too: taxi to and from Pokhara, and Nar was such a good guide, he taught me a few Nepalese words along the way too, and never broke sweat!!
I really recommend ‘Boundless Himalayas’ !!
Thank you Min and Nar !!
My goal was to reach Everest Base Camp. I achieved that goal on Nov 10th with my guide and porter from Boundless Travel. The trip was well organized & I felt perfectly safe as a single woman travelling alone with the staff from Boundless Travel. Thank you for helping me achieve my goal.
It was just a short trip (only 2 days) but Min and his staff were very helpful. The guide (Kumud) was very knowledgeable and made our experience in Kathmandu memorable and enjoyable. We hope to return to Nepal soon to do more activities.
We had a great (and cold) experience doing the Manaslu and the Annapurna Circuit successfully. The trip was properly organized and we haven’t had any problems. Jetha and K.B. our guide and porter did a good job and helped us passing Larkya- La and Thorong-La.
We have seen a lot of breathtaking landscapes and have met many interesting tourists and local people. Thanks to the whole Boundless team for organizing this trip!!!
27/11/2014 50 days trekking
Leaving Kathmandu on 5 Oct for Jiri with guide Kumar, it was so well organized with Boundless Himalayas in such nice valley to begin the trek up to Namche in 10 days- not so many trekkers but happy to meet each day in the lodge.
Then from Namche to Gokyo 5th lake Gokyo Ri. We tested the chance to cross Renjo-La which offers such a wide panaroma than ever. Then Namche to Chhukung and specially Amadablam BC where Kumar has so accurate eyes to observe the Jahar lion fur. We tracked them for 1 hour to capture the best picture ever done.
Namche Tumlingtar in 9 days was very tough but unique and very wild, most impossible without guide.
Halesi cave after 5 days is lovely holy place specially during festival.
Thank you to all the staff of Boundless Himalayas.
I keep so much thinking to tell and show picture in France with so kind Nepali.

Dear Min, Thanks for arranging such a wonderful for us. It was a great time while staying in Nepal. We thank you all the staff member especially our driver for such a great driving skills. Also Vijay, our personal guide for warm and excitement experience while we travel to Pokhara though there is some struggle during our trip but he tried his best for us. We very appreciate for all of his effort.
We had a great time.
Thank you for everything!
This was simply the best start to our travels we could have hoped for. Min was very patient and informative when we needed him to be. Extremely punctual and caring in his business affairs, as well as putting us at ease that everything would be taken care of.
Whilst on the trail, Ramesh was the greatest guide and I could sense the envy in other trekkers that we had such an informed, energetic and relaxed guide. I can’t recommend him and our porter (Dubeese) enough. The level of conscientiousness was a step up from anything I have personally ever experienced. We were never rushed or ever felt we had to push ourselves harder than we needed to. In fact as a result of Ramesh’s insight and experience we ascended with little to no feelings of altitude sickness, which was the thing we were most dubious of.
This has been a fantastic experience. Thank you so much for your care and consideration.
Thank you so so much for a great trek. I was very nervous about doing the Everest Base Camp Trek as I hadn’t had time to train for it.
My nerves were not needed however as you and your company reassured me the whole way.
We had a GREAT guide called Ramesh who looked after me from start to finish, who always helped and guided me and was very patient with my slow walking. I can’t thank him enough.
This trek has been amazing and thank both Min, Ramesh and our porter for guiding us along the trek of a lifetime.
In our first time in Nepal we didn’t meet the Boundless Himalayas Company to do trekking or anything similar, but to have an experience that would change us and change our vision upon the world and life.
We spent almost two beautiful months doing volunteer work in the school of the village where Mr. Min was born, called Dubung.
There is so much to day about Dubung, about its people and about this fabulous experience that we need a book to express everything but we will try to sum it all up: Dubung is an isolation village in the middle of the mountains and hills, with breathtaking views and various houses made out of mud that make us go back in time. The people of Dubung had a perfect synergy with the soil and have an unmatchable hospitality , they do everything and give everything they have and don’t have, to make us feel at home. It was there where we spent moments we will never ever forget, playing with and teaching the children, sharing experiences and laughs with our fellow teachers, eating delicious Daal Bhaat, tarkari, roti, participating in parties, weddings and birthdays, meeting other villages and contacting with nature.
Mr. Min’s family who we lived with became our second family and Dubung our second home. It’s emotional to know that in any way we made the difference and marked the lives of the people of Dubung. In our memories we will never forget them and we promise to come back.
Thank you Mr. Min for this opportunity and for arranging everything for us. You can count on us to share our love for Dubung and its people and help them in any way we can.

Hard work…… But a fantastic trek and were worth the effort !
Lukla – Gokyo lakes – Cho La Pass – E.B.C. – Lukla
We were well looked after and we never had to worry about food or accommodation. Ramesh, (the guide) was very patient, especially with our acclimatization. Dibesh (the porter) also couldn’t come highly recommended enough from us. Views every half hour change and Get more amazing!
Really is a trip of a lifetime.
Thank you for everything.

Dear Min and Team,
We were recommended Min by friends, who promised that he’d be an excellent trip organizer, he of course did not disappoint. We booked before the Earthquake occurred & I’m so pleased we decided to still come! Min was fantastic in organizing our trip from start to finish & was always so quick in his email responses. On arrival into KTM it was a joy to see his smiley face! On arrival into Pokhara we were introduced to Jiban & JB – all members of Min’s family. Without JB’s smile & Jiban’s mean card playing technique it wouldn’t have been the same & there’s no way we could have climbed the steps of Ulleri without them!
ABC was just fantastic, we felt such an achievement in getting there, & importantly felt so safe in JB & Jiban’s company!
Thank you for everything Min, JB & Jiban !
I return from a great experience. I went to ABC camp with a great porter, he was really my HERO.
I saw beautiful views and make new friends.
It was hard sometimes and a struggle but at the end I was so proud, that feeling I take with me for the rest of my life.

This year for my birthday I wanted to go to Kathmandu to help children with disabilities and without parents. It’s become somewhat of a yearly tradition for me to help such children – it is my gift to myself, but not knowing anyone in Nepal I did …
