 We did 5 day trekking with Shankar dai to Poon
Hill. Shankar dai is a great guide and funny. He
always made sure we had enough to drink and he
went cooking with the people. We loved the walk,
the laughter, the food. We had some
killer-weather, but besides the clouds, we
enjoyed the mountain – jungle adventure. We hope
when we come back someday to have another great
adventure with our Shankar dai to see white tops
!

It was always a dream of mine to trek in the
Annapurna region of Nepal and with Min Thapa and
the Mongolian Trekking company my dreams came
true. It was better than I could have imagined.
Contacting Min just a few days before my
departure to Nepal, I was unsure if I had left
organising things too late, not so. Min was very
accommodating and patient while we tailor-made
an itinerary to suit my needs. While in Nepal
everything went like clock-work and my guide
“Master” was knowledgeable and very good fun.
All in all the experience is difficult to put
into words. My thanks to Min and Master for
giving me the experience of a lifetime, one that
will live long in the memory.

We just came back from a short trip in Annapurna
(4 days only) with Master and it was fantastic.
We got really lucky because going in June you
are not always guaranteed to see any mountains
and we saw a bunch – very beautiful ! Master was
fantastic and we had really great time – thank
you so much !!

Dear Min & Som,
Many thanks for an incredible experience. The
trek to ABC, the sanctuary, was beyond
expectations. Thankfully the weather cooperated
at this time of year ! Som, thank you for good
nature, kindness, and laughter. And especially
for bringing my pack up to ABC so that I could
experience such a magnificent morning there for
a second time. We had wonderful trek and you
were both so kind & helpful. Many thank & best

flight ticket on the wayback (for the trip) from
Juphal to Nepalgunj and from Nepalgunj to
Kathmandu.

Dear Min,
Icelandic volcanic ash may have delayed our
start, but Min you had faith (based upon what I
am not sure !?) that we cold make the Annapurna
Sanctuary + Poon Hill in just 8 days !
Well, make it we did, guided by Shanker and with
your fine nephew as porter, all the way up there
and all the way back. Plus, since the general
strike meant no road transport back into Pokhara,
walking night back to lakeside !!
We had a truly amazing time – a life- changing
experience. We miss the people and the villages
and the foothills already, and most of all we
miss the mountains, We will be back one day
without doubt. Their spirituality and shear
physicality will draw us back to beautiful Nepal
!
So, thank you Min and everyone, it was perfectly
organized despite some adversities and it had
personal touch plastered all over !

 Many thanks for making my trip to Nepal a really
special experience. The Annapurna trek which I
have done has been wonderful in every single
details: great scenery, friendly people – all
very well organized. Special thanks to my guide
Tanka, who looked after me very well. I enjoyed
every moment and will definitely come back to do

meet your lovely family. It was really pleasure
and honour.
I would definitely recommend your company to my

Dear fellow Travellers,
We arrived in Kathmandu a couple of weeks ago
not know what to expext. We were greeted at the
airport by Min and his son which was very warm
reception complete with flower garland !
For the next couple of days he made us feel more
than welcome complete with dinner at his family
home and a fantastic city tour.
We then set off to Lukla with Master (guide) and
the ever-smiling J.B. (Porter) who were
absolutely superb hots – they literally treated
us like royalty.
And I haven’t even mentioned trek – two words –
DO IT, and you will have an absolutely amazing
experience.

Dear Min,
Trekking was great with Chandra. We see a nice
part of Nepal. Gosainkunda lake was really nice
few points and I’m glad that we made the pass.
In the few year Chandrea speaks really well
English and than he will become super guide !

Dear Min,
We had a wonderful time during our trekking
of 24 days. We saw a lot of different land
escapes & each was magical. It was a trip to
never forget and for always in my heart.
Thanks to our guide who led us through the old
little ways. It was sometimes a little hard but
lucky we had good porter and good Dal Bhat. Hope
to come back in a few years.

Namaste and warm greetings from Nepal. This was
the opening line on the first email from Min,
and this sentiment has been followed through
from start to finish. We have tour Kathmandu
with the very knowledgeable Vijay, who seems to
know everything about Hindu + Buddhist Temples
and then onto the mountains with equally
knowledgeable “Master” as our guide, not
forgetting the hardest working, nicest lad on
the team “Porter Sahib”. The trek to Everest
Base Camp was great with a wow factor around
every corner, “Truly Amazing”. All the guest
houses were to a good standard and the good was
always great.
I will not hesitate to recommend any friends
wanting to trek in this awesome country to Min +
his team

My trip to Nepal has been an incredible
experience. After collection from the airport I
spent 2 days sightseeing with Vijay my guide.
Vijay has both great knowledge and patience as I
too many photos. I met my guide and porter and
we left the following morning for Lukla to begin
our trek . Every day seemed satisfying walking
through forest. At last gorgeous mountains.
Seeing sunrise at kalapatthar and Base Camp.
Min, his family, guide and porter have allbeen
fantastic and I leave knowing I have more
friends.
