A. Itinerary in Detail (21 Days)

Day 01, Aug 04: Arrival in Kathmandu. Welcome and receive from airport and transfer to Hotel. Briefing about the trip and preparation

Day 02, Aug 05: Day for obtaining visa and permit. Sightseeing of Kathmandu

Day 03, Aug 06: Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and transfer to Hotel. Overnight at hotel Siddhartha.

Day 04, Aug 07: Fly from Nepalgunj to Simikot, 2856m and After lunch, we start trek to Dharapuri. It is a beautiful walk thought the jungle on a rock chattered switch baking path.. Overnight at Dharapuri

Day 05, Aug 08: Trek to Kermi, 2550m. Today we start to follow the Karnali river  with magnificent surroundings of mountain, River and old villages. Overnight at Kermi

Day 06, Aug 09: Trek to Yalbang Chaur, 2700m. We continue to follow the Karnali river we will have short visit of the Gompa. It is the largest and most impressive Gompa in this area. This monastery has been recently built to represent the monastery of Namkha Khyung dzong located at the source of Karnali river, West of holy Mt. Kailash. Around one hundred monks live with their guru (Pema Rigsal Rempoche) here. Overnight at Yalbang Chaur

Day 07, Aug 10: Trek to Tumkot, 2800m. Today is another good day in Karnali Valley. Muchhu village is another attraction of the day. Overnight Tumkot

Day 08, Aug 11: Trek to Thado Dhunga(4100m). Today after crossing the Tumkot khola we will leave Humla Karnali. We will walk through the Juniper forest and reach Yari village. Beyond the Yari village there is a great campsite called Dzunjen from where the magnificent view of Saipal Himal can be enjoyed. Overnight at Thado Dhunga with a great view.

Day 09, Aug 12:  Trek to Purang enters into Tibet Crossing Nara La pass (4325m). Overnight at Purang

Day 10, Aug 13: Drive to Tirthapuri 4310m. Overnight at Tirthapuri

Day 11, Aug 14: Drive to Tholing, 3780m and visit old kingdom of Guge. Overnight at Tsaprang

Day 12, Aug 15: Drive to Darchen, 4500m. Overnight at Darchen4500m

Day 13, Aug 16: Trek to Dri-Ra-Phuk, 4900m. Trek to north Lha Chu valley to enter into the valley of gods.  Load up all gear to our pack animal at Tarpoche, then start trekking, about 4 hours hike following La-chu valley take north bank of the stream to the camp that opposte to Drira Phuk monastery. Overnight at Dri-Ra Phuk 4900m

Day 14, Aug 17: Trek to Zuthul Phuk, 4700m, via Dorma La pass (5400m). Start from the camp, the trail is steep, strenuous, the altitude goes up rapaidly, plan about 3 or 4 hours to cover this ascending hiking of 6km around is necessary. When reach top of Drolma la pass, descending southeastward from this pass. This trail is rocky and steep, around 4 km to reach at Lham-chu valley, where w e continually southward for about 8km, Zutrul phuk is located by the trail on the slop of the mountain. Overnight at Zuthulphuk

Day 15, Aug 18: To Chi Gumba, Manasarovar lake 4558m

Day 16, Aug 19: One day can be added either to Manasarovar Kora or Guge

Day 17, Aug 20: Drive to Zongba. Overnight at Zongba. Overnight at Zongba

Day 18, Aug 21: Drive to Nyalam. Overnight at Nyalam. Overnight at Nyalam

Day 19, Aug 22: Drive to Tibet-Nepal boarder. Receive and drive to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel

Day 20, Aug 23: Free day relaxation, shopping etc in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Day 21, Aug 24: As per the flight schedule, transfer to airport. Bid farewell and fly back home with beautiful memories of the trip.
