Glimpse of Everest Trek - 12 Days |

This
trek is comparatively easy one to some of other
treks. The trek takes you up high along trails
to Tengboche Monastery (3850m). Although, it is
a short trek, offers very scenic trek giving you
a really superb view of the world's highest
peaks, including Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt.
Thamserku, Mt. Amadablam & other many snowy
peaks.. This trek starts from Lukla after taking
30 minutes scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla.
From there we trek up to Namche Bazaar,
Tyangboche (famous for its monastery), Khumjung
village, which offers a very nice settlement of
Sherpas people.
This trek definitely gives a great introduction
to Sherpa country & its culture along with fine
mountain views. During trekking, you really find
the area as a very popular destination for first
time trekkers in Nepal. The trek is best suited
especially for those people who haven't enough
time for longer treks into the high mountains.

Itinerary in Details

|
Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu
Welcome and receive from airport and transfer to
hotel |

Day 02 :
Full day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley which
includes the visits to Many historical and
architectural monuments |
|
Day
03 : Kathmandu to Lukla (2804 m.) by flight(40
mins), and trek to Phakding (2610 m). |
|
Day 04 :
Trek to Namche Bazaar (3535 m).
The trail crosses Dudhkoshi River over a long
suspension bridge and then leads you along the river
to Hilary's Suspension Bridge. Then the trail climbs
further from here to Namche Bazaar. |

Day 05 :
Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar
This day is rest day taken for the acclimatization
to the region. You can spend it taking a day hike to
Thame, visiting Khunde or relaxing and exploring
Namche Bazaar itself which is known as the gateway
to Mt. Everest |

Day 06 :
Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3850m).
Today's route starts by climbing up to the
Shyangboche airstrip. Just above the airstrip is the
Everest View Hotel, a Japanese scheme to build a
deluxe hotel with great views of the highest
mountains on Earth. The trail will descend slightly
to Dudhkoshi at 3250m. Then a
steep ascent will bring you to the famous Tengboche
Gompa, with its stunning background of Ama Dablam,
Mt. Everest and other peaks. |

Day 07 :
Trek to Khumjung village. Overnight at Guest House. |

Day
08 : Trek to Phakding. Overnight at Guest House. |
|
Day 09 :
Trek to Lukla.
And finally today the trail will lead you back to
Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft). On arrival in Lukla you will
have time to relax, stretch those sore legs and
celebrate the completion of your trek. |

Day
10 : Morning flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla.
After an early morning flight to Kathmandu, you will
be received from the airport and taken to your
hotel. Rest of the day is free for your shopping and
relaxation. |

Day
11 : Leisure day in Kathmandu. Overnight at
hotel |
|
Day
12 : Transfer to Airport for your home departure.
Today is your last day in Nepal. You will be
transferred to airport as per your flight schedule.
