Dudh Kunda

Overview

A 10 day trek to Dudh Kunda passes through Kaku, Basa, Taksindu and Beni, taking you through dense forests of rhododendron and a variety of wildlife. Dudh Kunda (literally means milky lake) is believed to be a holy lake and the locals believe that taking a dip in the holy waters will have the wishes granted.

A. Itinerary in Detail (13 Days)

Day 01 : Meeting upon arrival at Kathmandu International airport by our representative, transfer to hotel

Day 02 : City tour of Kathmandu. Visit thei historical and cultural sites of Kathmandu

Day 03: Fly to Phaplu and trek to Chayalsa, overnight at tented camp

Day 04: Trek to Kaku / overnight tented camp

Day 05: Trek to Khastap /  overnight tented camp

Day 06: Trek to Trek to Nunthala / overnight tented camp

Day 07: Trek to Sarkari Pati / overnight tented camp

Day 08: Trek to Beni / overnight tented camp

Day 09: Trek to Dudh Kunda / overnight tented camp

Day 10: Trek to Taksindu Pass / overnight tented camp

Day 11: Trek to Phaplu / overnight tented camp

Day 12: Fly back to Kathmandu / pick up / overnight at hotel

Day 13: Transfer to airport / departure to your own destination

Cost Includes

  •   Accommodation in Kathmandu on bed and breakfast basis as per the itinerary
