Overview

Slightly off the beaten, Mardi Himal trek is relatively newer route in Annapurna region which offers mesmerizing views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchre and Manaslu ranges.

The trek passes through a various villages and forests which ensures a true blend of village lifestyle and natural experience. The trekkers who prefer to avoid the busy trekking trail, this trek fits really well.

A. Itinerary in Detail (14 Days)

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Welcome and pick up from airport and transfer to hotel. Trip introduction.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu that includes the visits to many historical and cultural monuments.

Day 03: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus.
Day 04: Drive Pokhara to Kande and trek to Deurali, 2100m
Day 05: Trek Deurali to Forest Camp, 2600m
Day 06: Trek Forest Camp to Low Camp, 2970m
Day 07: Trek Low Camp to High Camp, 3550m
Day 08: Trek Hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp, 4500m and return to High camp.
Day 09: Trek High Camp to Forest Camp
Day 10: Trek Forest Camp to Jhinu Hot Spring
Day 11: Trek Jhinu Hot Spring to Ghandruk
Day 12: Trek Ghandruk to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara
Day 13: Drive back Pokhara to Kathmandu
Day 14: Departure to home.

Cost Includes

  • Accommodation in Kathmandu on bed and breakfast basis as per the itinerary
  • City tour in Kathmandu with guide by private car
  • Entry fees when sightseeing in Kathmandu
  • National Park Trekking/Entry Permit
  • Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) registration fee
  • Round trip / internal flights / overland transport / if needed / as per the itinerary
  • Accommodation in guest tented camp during the trek
  • Three meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) a day during the trek
  • Qualified and experienced trekking guide and porter services
  • Transportation, accommodation, meal allowance, equipment and insurance for trekking staff
  • All the official paper work and all the applicable government taxes
  • Airport transfers for internal flights
  • Sleeping bag, down jacket and rucksack if required
