There are vast prairies, continuous mountains, unique Tibetan villages, ancient temples, snow-capped mountains, grand glaciers, flowing streams, rushing rivers, lush forest, deep canyons, and blue sky that you will destined to observe this unique beauties of the trip. No one will refuse to fall in love with this heavenly land.

A. Itinerary in Detail (14 Days)

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu, accord warm welcome transfer to the Hotel Arts Kathmandu

Day 2: Chinese Visa Application day, drive to Nagarkot by private vehicle and explore around

Day 3: Nagarkot explore around and leisure

Day 4: Nagarkot explore around and leisure

Day 5:  Fly to Lhasa from Kathmandu

Day 6: Lhasa – Sightseeing (Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar )

Day 7: Lhasa – Lake Yamdrok  or Nangkartse    130kms,

Day 8: Lake Yamdork or Nangkartse  – Gyantse,   130kms   (Kumbum monastery visit )

Day 9: Gyantse – Shigatse,  90kms,  (Tashilunpo monastery visit )

Day 10: Shigatse – Lhatse,   150kms,

Day 11: Lhatse – Old Tingri, 150kms

Day 12: Old Tingri – Kerung County,   210kms,

Day 13: Kerung – Kerung border (cross border, leave Tibet), 40km then drive to Kathmandu

Day 14: Departure day: airport drop off and back to home country with beautiful memories

Cycling and driving by vehicle whenever necessary at suitable places. Although it is our intention to operate the itinerary as detailed above, it may be necessary to make some changes as a result of climatic conditions, alterations to flight schedules or other operational factors.

Cost Includes

  • Hotel accommodation on bed and breakfast basis in Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Lhasa, Shigatse and Kerung in 3 star category hotels
  • Flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa
  • Special Tibet travel permit and China Visa Fee
  • English speaking Guide for Tibet side
  • All the permit / entrance fees mentioned in the itinerary
  • Accommodation in tented camps in sites where there is no hotel during the trip
  • Meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the camping period, drinking water during the trip
  • Mountain bike guide, cook and helpers
  • Camping equipment like tents, mattress, pillows and all kitchen utensils, etc.
  • First aid kit for comprehensive medical supplies
  • 1 luggage truck to pick up Nepalese staff and camping equipments from the Kyirong border and transfer to Lhasa and then travel with the group to Kyirong
